Disney has resumed sales of its Water Park Seasonal Pass, offering guests unlimited access to either Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon or Blizzard Beach through May 23, 2025, for $79 plus tax ($73 for ages 3 - 9). This pass provides a cost-effective option compared to the current single-day water park ticket price of $74.

Currently, only Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon is open to guests, as Blizzard Beach remains closed. The Seasonal Pass allows entry to whichever water park is open at the time of your visit. Blizzard Beach will reopen in November 4, 2024, with Typhoon Lagoon closing the same day to begin its annual refurbishment.

The pass is valid until May 23, 2025, with the exception of blackout dates from April 12 to April 20, 2025.

Usually not that many days, the issue is usually more so that you won’t want to go.

Yes and during Sept/Oct and May TL is only open, I know I went to it then. If BB was open I would have gone there too.

September/October/Beginning of November/April/May are still very warm and really good for water parks.

I haven’t been to Blizzard Beach in forever, because of the one park open at a time philosophy. When I get an AP I typically do Oct, Dec, Jan/Feb, May, Sept/Oct. Dec is usually too full with me doing all the Christmas stuff (and often too cold) and Jan/Feb is too cold. It also hurts that I need to lock in my schedule ahead of time and can’t rely on a weather forecast. When I’m at Universal if I get a day in Jan/Feb that hits 80 I can go to VB whenever because the only thing I have locked in is a dinner reservation, not so at WDW. Hyper scheduling doesn’t help.

Well with all the rain storms and the temperature slowly creeping down I would say you got 4 to 5 weeks tops until the temperatures make swimming only desirable if you live in much cooler temperatures. All the rest of us will likely have to wait quite a while for it to be warm enough to enjoy it again.

I wonder how many days the water parks are closed due to cold weather between now and May

Hi, Does anyone know if this season pass has been extended into this year?

bmr1591Oct 07, 2023

Is it really that crazy? Half the year one is just sitting there unused. The water parks are a money pit.

LOL No.

Ouch.

I’ll admit I haven’t looked at the property map, and I’ll also admit that there’s little chance Disney is interested in a fifth gate at this time, but would it not make sense for them to tear down one of the parks and use the existing utilities infrastructure to support the construction of an actual fifth gate?
