It really feels like they are throwing what they can at the wall and hope something sticks. I have never seen a year long deal. This tells me bookings must be very soft for 2026

No. To take advantage of the kids eat free promotion, The only requirement is a confirmed resort reservation or confirmed DVC reservation. If you are taking advantage of a Free Dining promotion,(which is different from the kids eat free promotion, and they do not overlap) you will need to have a non discounted resort reservation and non discounted tickets for the entire length of your stay. Disney is essentially charging $0 for kids age 3-9 who are part of a reservation with a dining plan for 2026.

Do you still need a ticket package to have this offer? Seeing conflicting things

Any word if this include DVC and AP? I can't seem to find anything that confirms it one way or the other

I think we are going to continue to see more EPIC deals like this coming for WDW in 2025, 2026, 2027 😉😉

Historically, yes. But the article posted says otherwise for this deal. “Can be combined with select other special offers during 2026.”

Instead of lowering prices, Disney, along with many other large corporations, have decided to offer discounts instead. This way, they can entice sagging tourist demand without lowering their top line revenue. (Theme park admission prices, resort room rates, food and merchandise prices, etc) it’s like a landlord of a strip mall agreeing to give you a free months rent instead of lowering the price per square foot. It’s more advantageous for the landlord to keep the price per square foot stable, and giveaway monetary concessions instead. Square footage is a top line number which can be used for loans, valuation of the property, shareholders. Concessions get buried in the pages of financial reports. I think we’ll see Disney giveaway much more in the future, before we would ever see price decreases.

With 'adult' = anyone over age 9.

Can't combine with WDW, so it's one offer or the other.

Don't forget the inevitable requirement of purchasing length-of-stay park hoppers for everyone in the room, as well. BuT kIdS eAt FrEe!!!1!!

Almost like it's a scam promotion geared to fool low-information guests into paying rack rate and buying a dining plan for anyone over age 9 in the traveling party at full cost?

    Take that Epic!

    easyrowrdw22 days ago

Yes. The last time I priced it the kids plan was an okay deal, especially if you did some character meals. The adult price was hard to stomach though. Maybe 2 adults and 2 kids free would be a decent value, especially if you can now combine it with other offers.
