Orlando International Airport (MCO) has today launched a new app and website including features like indoor maps, real-time flight updates, security wait times, and parking availability.

For Walt Disney World travelers, these updates should make navigating Orlando International Airport much easier and faster.

New Website and App: Easier Travel for Disney Visitors

The new Orlando International Airport website (flyMCO.com) and flyMCO app features are designed to make travel easier and less stressful, especially for families heading to Disney. Key benefits include:

  • Quick Navigation: The app provides indoor maps with turn-by-turn directions, helping you get around the airport without hassle.
  • Real-Time Updates: Get live updates on security wait times and flight status so you can plan your time better.
  • Parking Information: Easily check parking availability and access reserved parking options right from the app.

The airport's operator, GOAA, says the redesign was guided by traveler feedback, making sure the tools are helpful and intuitive for those visiting Disney World.

A Fresh Look for Orlando International Airport

Alongside the new digital experience, there is also a new logo which GOAA says symbolizes innovation and a new dawn.

You can visit the new-look MCO website at flyMCO.com, and get the updated app from your device's App Store.

Ugh, turn by turn navigation on an app. This mean more people walking around with their heads down at a snails pace, crashing into me. Maps on an app are fine. But the turn by turn stuff tends to lead to people not paying attention. Improved wayfinding signs are my choice. Also, they are often faster than an app. Which way is baggage claim? Looks up at a giant sign that says "Baggage Claim ->" Done. As opposed to get out your phone, open the app, navigate to the maps screen, search for baggage claim, indicate that is where you want to go, and then stare at the phone (trying to hold it in one hand, while managing your carry on, or kids, or beverage, with the other) while walking there.
