This is a typical quick service self serve restaurant that is convenient to the resort guests. There are plenty of choices, but beware that the snack options can be a bit confusing for new guests. Overall, the food is served hot and it is tasty. Just keep in mind that it is just quick service, so some of the food choices are of the "fast food" type. Children seem to like the choices given to them.
Yeah the food isn't very good and the lines are crazy with tons of kids running around, but what do you expect when you stay at a value resort. I left with a full belly.
You get what you pay for by staying at Disney's value resorts. Breakfast is your basic eggs, bacon or sausage, waffles, pancakes, french toast. I liked the bounty platter - great value for what you pay for. The omlets were decent and always a safe bet. If the resorts are crowded, prepare for a wait since everyone else is getting up at the same time - I'd recommend getting there before check out time. Also, most of the windows changed to lunch at 11 AM, so be sure to get there with plenty of time to spare unless you want lunch that early. Average lunch and dinner. Nachos, burgers, fries, taco salad. The plus is you can create your own salad. Again, you shouldn't expect to get gourmet food staying at a value resort. If you want gourmet, go pick up food somewhere else.
We stayed at the All Stars in Sept. The food court does not serve gormet food, but it does have decent food and choices. Breakfast is just the normal fare, Eggs,Pancakes and so on. But all that we had was just fine. Lunch is mainly the same as offered in the parks; hamburgers and hot dogs. As for supper I loved the pot roast and steamed veggies. Our 16yr son and 18yr daughter loved the mexican choices. Fresh and tasty sandwiches and salads are also available as well. Fresh fruit and veggies also. A great value is the refillable mugs.
the only reason why I had to eat here was because I was staying here with my Chorus on a singing competition trip. This was the only place they allowed us to eat sometimes. Anyway, the food was terrible. breakfast: the only thing I could get down was the fruit and packaged cereals. They had powdered eggs and gross french toast along with a bunch of other very disgusting breakfast choices. lunch: same thing everyday! nasty cheeseburgers with greasy fries, gross gross gross! And very expensive salads that were gross too! I had to buy packaged chips and just eat that for lunch because I couldn't eat it. dinner: the worst! Pasta with questionable sauces, disgusting pizza, rubber chicken. EW! never again. not Disney quality.
