If you want movie stuff, you can anything here like signed photos of film & TV stars. It should have John Bunnell & Paul Frees.

A STAR WARS MUST. THE BEST SELECTION OF STAR WARS STUFF EVER. IF YOU ARE A FAN BE PPREPARED TO SPEND BIG,IT WILL BE WORTH IT. THE ONLY PROBLEM IS AFTER YOU LEAVE YOU WILL REALIZE YOU SHOULD HAVE GOTTEN MORE.
A STORE FOR MUPPET ADDICTS AND A GREAT PLACE TO WONDER AND LOOK AT A STORE DESIGNED FOR THEM. IF YOU DON'T BUY AT LEAST LOOK AT THIS PLACE AND YOU WILL NOT BE DISSAPOINTED.
A GREAT PLACE TO SHOP FOR AUTOGRAPHED PICTURES OF ALL KINDS OF SHOW BIZ CELEBS. THEY CAN BE PRICEY BUT EVEN IF YOU WALK THROUGH TO JUST LOOK IT IS TIME WELL SPENT.THE STORE IS KIND OF CROWDED SO THE BEST TIME TO SEE IT IS PROBABLY EARLY IN THE MORNING JUST AFTER OPENING
IF YOU STILL HAVE YOUR SENSES AFTER THE COASTER RIDE THIS IS A GREAT PLACE TO SHOP FOR THINGS YOU WILL NOT SEE ANYWERE ELSE. LOTS OF T'S ,MUSIC AND UNIQUE ROCK SOUVENIRS. IF YOU ARE NOT INTO THE COASTER RIDE JUST GO IN THE OUT DOOR TO THE FAR LEFT OF THE RIDE.
CLOTHES AND SOUVENIRS LIKE EVERYOTHER WDW STORE BUT BE SURE TO CHECK OUT THE FIGURINES THAT CAN BE HARD TO FIND NORMALLY.
MOSTLY WINNIE AND FRIENDS.TAKE THE TIME TO LOOK AT THE THEMEING AND THE TOYS.
BASIC KIDS CLOTHES AND SOUVENIRS. GREAT PLACE TO STOP WITH KIDS ON THE WAY OUT OF THE PARK AT THE END OF THE DAY. SEEMS TO BE LESS CROWDED WHILE THE PARADE IS ON.
LOTS OF CLOTHES FOR MEN AND WOMEN. NICE SHIRTS, JACKETS AND WATCHES.
THE DISNEY XMAS STORE - NICE BUT SMALL, IT WAS HARD TO GET IN THE MOOD FOR THIS SHOP BUT IS A DIFFERENT CHANGE OF PACE.
A LOT OF MGM BASED T SHIRTS AND OTHER CLOTHES ALL IN ONE PLACE. IT CAN GET BUSY AT THE END OF THE DAY WHEN PEOPLE ARE LEAVING THE PARK.
mgm logo and tv and movie products that are not neccessarily disneY or abc, which is a nice change from all the cross branding.
AFTER LEARNING ABOUT SAVING THE PLANET THIS IS A GREAT PLACE TO BUY THINGS THAT SHOW YOU ARE TRUELY A TREE HUGGER.A NICE CHANGE OF PACE WHEN SHOPPING AT DISNEY.
SAFARI CLOTHES AND SOUVENIRS.REAL AFRICAN CARVINGS AND ART WORK.A GREAT VALUE FOR QUALITY MERCHANDISE.
THE BEST PLACE I HAVE SEEN FOR PINS.ALSO OTHER DISNEY STUFF THERE BUT THE PINS HAVE THE BEST SELECTION I HAVE SEEN.
FIRST STOP FOR STROLLER AND WHEELCHAIR RENTALS AND LAST STOP FOR PACKAGE PICKUP AND CHARACTER PHOTO PICKUP.
BASICLY A KODAK FILM STOP. NOT MUCH OF A REASON OTHER THAN A NEED FOR FILM TO STOP.
HIGH END CLOTHES ,WATCHES,POOH AND OTHER QUALITY ACC.AND SOUVENIRS.A GREAT PLACE IF YOUR LOOKING FOR QUALITY DISNEY MERCHANDISE.
PLUSH TOYS, CLOTHING AND ASSORTED THINGS FOR YOUNG KIDS.
GREAT THEME WITH THE OLD GAS STATION. THE THEME IS INTERESTING FOR ADULTS WHILE THE TOYS THERE SHOULD PLEASE THE CHILDREN.
just stuff to buy that can be had anywhere, no big deal.time shopping is more fun shopping for unusual gifts at AK.
I GUESS IT'S BETTER THAN A EMPTY STORE BUT WHO CARES ABOUT PLANET HOLLYWOOD WHEN YOU ARE AT MGM. JUST ANOTHER ATTEMPT TO SELL T-SHIRTS.
This a perfect store (if you like Star Wars)- The exterior of the store is really neat and it really keeps you in the mood when you get off of Star Tours. This and TOT gift shop are at the tops for stores attached or that are at the end of an attraction.
The store should not be in MGM. I understand at Downtown Disney, but there is no reason at a theme park. What is next is Mcdonalds at the Animal Kingdom.
JUST A PLACE TO LOOK AROUND WHILE WAITING TO EAT. LOTS OF SAVE THE WORLD T - SHIRTS AND OTHER ASSORTED CLOTHES THAT ARE NOT ALL THAT IMPRESSIVE !!
Now THIS is a Frontierland shop. From statues of country animals, to quilts, to Country Bear merchandise, there is a whole heck of a lot of frontier merchandise here!!
In general, the Main Street Emporium is the Magic Kingdom store. From books, CDs, postcards, plushes, this store has a lot to offer! Be sure to check it out next time, even when you're exiting the park.
It's unfortunate that this cute little area (named after a star from across the street) has general WDW merchandising - 95% of it not fitting with the area. However, I've usually found the cast members here charming and there are actually some pins here for Pin Trading.
The theming in this store is excellent! Be it Wonderland or Villains or Princesses, this place has a little something for everyone. I still am not pleased in general with the range of merchandise, but overall, it's worth a visit when you're looking for that Disney item.
While I enjoy the selection of soundtracks, I find this store very insulting to be in Downtown Disney. Many of the giant ads around and music sold are very immodest and unfortunate. Luckily, there are a few hidden spots here and there for those of you who prefer a more calm music store.
While I enjoy the atmosphere of the shop, I feel that the merchandising is too lame. While I enjoy the characters and animals, I guess the selection isn't too appealing. It's a nice place to look around during your hour long wait (unless you're a member of the Safari Club!!)
While this store is one of the best I've seen at Disney, I am **extremely** disappointed with the price of the items. Planning to buy a few games, I couldn't even purchase the Haunted Mansion Clue (40 dollars is a bit too much for me). So I enjoy to go in to watch models and great theming, there is creativity at its best, but I usually exit grumbling at the prices.
I was looking for a more interacive type of store, however, this is mainly an enter and buy tricks behind a counter - and the stuff is pretty expensive! The theming is of a library, which is nice, but I keep thinking there could be a little extra something here. Fine for a magic fan, I'm sure!
When I get enough money, I'm buying everything in this store!! It's fun to look at all of the beautiful merchandise, even if you're not going to buy anything. A nice "at home" feel provides a nice stroll to smell candles and laugh at Mickey-shaped items!
An excellent touch to West Side! The inside has an excellent variety of treats - and theming! Not to miss, if you're strolling around - and a little hungry!
Another no-miss Marketplace shop! From attraction posters to statuettes, this place has a lot to offer. Pricey, yes, but fun to look at...and wish you had!
This is one of my favorite places at the Marketplace. It's a little hidden, but once inside, you've hit an excellent source of Disney books and writing materials. Not to miss on a shopping day!
Just like any other RFC (Rainforest Cafe, store) you will find here in the midwest...or..where ever there is a rain forest cafe. Nothing Special here... over priced, save the earth type stuff, if you are into that sort of thing..then this is the store for you. T-shirts...stuffed animals (kinda ironic eh?...lol).
There are quite a few disney themed snacks and coffee on one side of this store... and on the other half you will find quite a few Disney Themed cook books, dishes, plates, cups, coffee mugs...etc...its nice... but a tad bit on the expensive side. Nice Bakery counter type set up as well...with all kinds of sweets and goodies.
It may be the best Pooh shop for kids, but I love it. I would get Pooh merchandise, so I can get lots of Pooh merchandise. It can be a one stop shopping Pooh place at Downtown Disney, but it seems fun to me to go there better than Pooh's Thotful Spot.
It's probably the best shop for kids at the exit of Pooh. This may be really great, but I can smell honey & I like Pooh merchandise. First, I love to go on the Pooh ride, & then, I like to go to that Pooh shop when I exit the ride.
When i went this was one of the newest store in DTD. I think this was the store that you can print stickers to put on packages that you but and sent it back to your room without having to cart them around WDW. I think that was also the place that had Haunted Mansion clue and all the ride minatures!
I love Christmas, and I love Disney (WDW in particular). I always make a stop at this store. They have lovely merchandise, and some it is quite elegant (as opposed to some of the more "fun" or "cheesy" type stuff you find other places.) Highly, highly recommended!
The Lego store is great for children and anyone else who likes Legos. The items range from the simple Duplo blocks for toddlers to high-tech electronic Legos for older children. Its a good place for those "hard-to-find" souvenirs for your "Lego-Maniac!"
I love Christmas...and Disney..so what a perfect store to be in if you love them both! The sights, music and smells in this store transport you to a few days before Christmas it seems... So many ornaments...so little space to back them in the suitcase without fear of them breaking...lol I thought they had a bigger selection of Dept. 56 Christmas Village type stuff... but they did not *sigh*. The only Dept 56 stuff they had...was only a few Village houses they made for Disney a few years ago. They do have a wide selection of Christmas themed Disney Plush Characters... and a nice area in back to get things embroidered and personalized....Like robes...mickey ears....and hand painted ornaments. If you must do one store in DTD...make it this one. Its Full of Christmas & Disney Magic.
This store almost qualifies as an attraction for serious Muppet lovers. The foyer is full of muppety fun (if you have the time, read *everything*!) and there's more muppety goodness on the walls inside. It morphs into a normal store as it goes toward the door that faces Pizza Planet. There are all kinds of Muppet merchandise for sale--this is usually where my souvenir budget gets blown.
I love this DVD store!!! It has John Wayne, Anime & much much more!!! We were going there to look for John Wayne & Anime DVDs for my souvenirs & go get them!!!
.....and you can use your Disney Club card discount here for the same stuff you see in the other stores...but cant get your discount at... I got my Monorail black train set here...got my discount....shipped it home...so I did not have to pay tax....so it worked out great....anything and everything disney...you will find it here....also....get the 100YoM Screen saver...its really cool and has tons of great pictures!
Expensive...you bet.....but alot like the Art of Disney...great selection of posters...cels and figures. Nice just to stoll thru and check out the art.
This shop is located near the train station and Fire Station on Main Street....I had seen a Monorail poster at the Art of Disney a few days ago....and found here as well....that was a great thing....as I really did not have the energy to go back to Downtown Disney...yeah..its kinda expensive....30 bucks for a poster....but you are not going to find this stuff anywhere else out side of WDW.
This is a great store... from Mickey Golf Shirts...to all kinds of disney themed golf stuff. Its REALLY expensive though Nice selection of menswear....cool polo shirts!
Located, naturally, close to the Indiana Jones Epic Stunt Spectacular attraction in Disney Studios, this is THE Indiana Jones store for fans. It makes me wish I had actually purchased something because when I'm in there I'm always tempted to pick up a leather jacket or an Indy fedora. It's got the basic types of souveniers, but is still a worthy stop. Next time I'll have to pick up a t-shirt or something. Even if you don't want to buy anything, it's worth a look.
This place has basically everything that you would find everyplace else, expect that is has the best range of disposible cameras. And the TTA zooming thoug the top adds a bit of fantsay
This place is the only place where i cn find alien encounters merchandise
If you are leaving the Magic Kingdom and you want one last treat, stop by this place. Located at the end of main street with the train station on the left (when leaving)
This place has everything from toy wagons to western Minnie and Mickey. including candles
This place takes up all of the left side of main street and has everything you could ever want. Just think of something and you will find it here
This is the place togo if you are looking for anything for your cd player or computur, or what to pick up something to read(why?). To get a good view of the immediate area, go upstairs and go to the cafe, and eat out on the balcony
This is the place to go to get stuffed animals, or any other object hat has to do with wild animals
Sweets for the sweet. This place has the best goodies in all of WDW
If your tired of every disney store being the same this store is for you. It has 5 themed rooms with something for everyone. The crowds can be tiring but hopefully they will thin out as the newness of the store wears off.
ANOTHER DOWNTOWN STORE FOR SNACKS AND A FEW DISNEY ITEMS. NOT BAD BUT NOTHING SPECIAL.
If you're an Indiana Jones fan and want just about anything themed to the films, it's here.
All the merchendise of Planet Hollywood without the restaurant. Seems to be out of place and a reason to sell you more t-shirts. Skip it unless you would rather buy your Planet Hollywood souvenirs here insteed of at Downtown Disney
This shop seems OK, but didn't seem like there was a lot in the store. There was some Skippy merchendise and some empty shelves with a few Lilo and Stitch toys on it. I wouldn't recogmend this shop unless you're exiting from Alien Encouter
Great spot for kids. Plenty of toys, photography that allows guests to have their pictures taken inside a scene from a Disney cartoon, and appearences by Goofy throughout the day. Take young kids here while other adults in your party are in the AFI Showcase.
This shop isn't too bad. The theming of a movie theater is great is great complete with box office and movie posters. The merchendise is mostly Pooh merchendise so it's worth a stop for Pooh fans. The mural of all the Pooh characters inside in their tuxedos going to a Hollywood premiere is pretty cute too.
Small Pooh shop at the exit of the Winnie the Pooh ride. Nice stop fot kids or Pooh fans, but is worth skiping if you don't fall into either of the last two categories.
This tiny Christmas shop on the New York Street is nice, but somewhat claustrophobic. It would be much nicer if it was bigger. Love the name though.
Great shop if you're looking for merchindise based on films and television shows that are not Disney such as the Wizard of OZ, the Three Stooges, I Love Lucy, Gone With the Wind, as well as the Nightmare Before Christmas, Home Improvement, and others. Worth a look if you're looking for more than just Disney themed items.
A large selection of WDW and character souvenirs are available here. Nice place to shop, but most everyone else in the park thinks it's great too, making it crowded. Good for kids.
This gift shop part of the Agrabah Bazaar area of Adventureland has a great selection of merchindise ranging from Aladdin souvenirs to souvenirs from around the world. Theming is great and complements the ride nicely.
For not being a fan of the Villains, this shop doesn't have a lot. Don't be looking for much Fantasmic merchendise here; the carts on the street have a larger selection. Worth at least a look, but not too much more if you're not a villains fan.
This gift shop at Condervation Station is a nice spot with a limited selection of Animal themed gifts. Not too exciting, but worth at least a look if you are already in Coservation Station.
This shop at the exit of One Man's Dream sells a little bit of everything from 100 Years of Magic Merchendise to character gifts. I wouldn't make this shop a must-see, especially since it seems to get very crowded with One Man's Dream, Little Mermaid, and Playhouse Disney all emptying into the area.
Nice shop. It's nothing you won't find many other places, but the service is usually better than you'll find at the Emporium. The TTA zooming through the shop adds a lot to theming as well.
This shop is a nice addition to Sunset Boulevard. The shop is full of collectables and vintage Disney merchendise. Disney fans should also recognize the shop's facade as the Carthay Circle theater where Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs premiered in 1937 which adds more to the 1930s Disney theme.
This shop has a variety of merchendise ranging from Disney themed clothing to character themed items. Check out the Discover Behind the Magic Kiosks here. They're somwhat fun, especially for kids.
This is a great shop for Star Wars fans. Lots of merchindise based on the films can be found here and the theming is great, especially the outside facade which is more elaborate than some attractions in the park.
The best Disney Christmas shop inside the parks. If you're looking for it, it's probably here. Worth a look no matter what time of year.
You have to go here after you exit Pirates of thew Caribbean. Lots of Pirate themed trinkets here for sale in a shop that flows very well with the theming of the ride.
This large shop neer MuppetVision has a variety of Disney and Muppet themed gifts. Great for kids. Be sure to look around at the theming. The shop is full of sets inspired by some of the Muppet's most famous movies.
Nice shop in the Africa section of the park. Includes African themed items, Animal Kingdom souvenirs, and character merchendise. Nice spot to spot into after your safari.
This shop if full of any sports merchendise or Disney themed sports items you could want. The ESPN merchendise seems to clash too much with Main Street. Enjoyed this much better when it was the Magic Shop, Penny Arcade, and bookstore.
This small shop next to the Sci-Fi drive in is a great spot for those looking for Disney themed books, videos, or music especially for kids who want to watch Disney movies or listen to some of the CDs available. The mini coffe shop should keep adults happy as well
EVERYTHING POOH IS HERE. IF YOU ARE A WINNIE FAN THIS PLACE MAKES IT EASY TO FIND EVERYTHING IN ONE PLACE.
GREAT PLACE TO GET IN THE XMAS MOOD. HAS JUST ABOUT EVERYTHING FOR A DISNEY XMAS DECORTING THEME. IF YOU GO IN LATE NOV. OR DEC. EXPECT THE PLACE TO BE PACKED WITH SHOPPERS !
If you're looking for a video, CD, book, ect., it's proably here. You'll pay a price though, most things here arn't cheep. This is an amazing shop, but to be honest it's not what I come to Disney World to do. See it if you have lots of time or are looking for something.
This is the best Christmas-themed shop you'll find on Disney property. There's plenty of Disney themed orniments, decorations, and other items plus wonderful theming that retells the "12 Days of Christmas" with Disney characters. A must-see.
This shop features a wide arange of Disney inspired artwork, cells, figureens, and other collectables. A must-see on a visit to the Marketplace.
If you're looking for an Animal Kingdom souvenir, this is the spot you'll find it. One stop shopping, a wide selection of pins, and crowds seemingly not too big of a problem, this makes a great stop for souvenirs.
While the merchindise inside is not the most exciting selection, the theming is incredable complete with winding beanstalk going in and out of the shop. Definatly worth a look.
This shop at the end of the Animation Tour has a cell, figurine, or print of just about any Disney character you could want. Great for browsing, but not a lot of merchendice in most guest's price range.
AFTER THE SHOW AND YOUR IN THE JONES MOOD HERE ARE YOUR ACC. GREAT HATS AND SOME KID PRODUCTS.
CELLS THAT ARE HARD TO FIND AND ALL RANGES OF PRICES. IF YOU ARE A COLLECTOR THIS IS A GREAT PLACE TO INDULGE.
There are two things that are great about this shop: the wonderful theming that continues the theme of the Hollywood Tower Hotel and the cleaver range of merchiendise from T-shirts and key chains to HTH Logo robes and Do not disturb signs. Definatly worth a look, athough it would be nice if it could be bigger since it seems to get too crowded after each elevator is unloaded.
While this is primarily a toy store, the theming here is very nice complete with Peter Pan theme and Tinker Bell flying around the room. Kids will love this place.
THE LARGEST STORE WITH EVERYTHING DISNEY. EVEN AS LARGE AS THIS STORE IS IT'S ALWAYS CROWED.
THE MOUSE ATHLETIC WARE DOESN'T DO MUCH FOR ME SO I WON'T BE SPENDING IN HERE.
IT IS A MEGA STORE THAT HAS IT ALL. GREAT SEECTION AND ITEMS THAT NORMALY WOULD HAVE TO BE ORDERED ARE IN STOCK.HARD TO COME OUT EMPTY HANDED.
SMALL BUT POPULAR STORE THAT IS EASILY OVER CROWED.A LOT OF REALLY NEAT ENTERTIANMENT STUFF. BE PREPARED TO PAY TOP DOLLAR.
This shop is a modle shop for great theming. The shop looks like a gas station-turned dinosaur-themed roadside attraction. Inside, there are plenty of cute touches such as the toy train running arounf the ceiling. Merchindise is mostly toys which can be found at other shops around the park, but is worth a look just for the theming
This shop is large, bright, kid friendly, and has great theming. Kids will love the large selection of character themed merchendise and toys, but be sure to keep any eye out for the cleaver theming around the shop including prize-winning Fair entries.
This shop has a great range of merchindice including souvenirs based on many of the attractions around the park from the Tower of Terror to Indiana Jones. Try this shop in the afternoon if you want any souvenirs based on any of the rides, it's easier to get a Tower Hotel T-Shirt here than wait forever in line at the Tower Shop with 15 other guests who just got off the elevator with you.
IF YOU LIKE OLD MOVIE STUFF AND ARE PREPARED TO PAY COME ON IN, IF NOT IT'S NICE TO VISIT.
IF YOU COLLECT MAGNETS THIS PLACE WILL BE HEAVEN FOR YOU. ITS WORTH A LOOK JUST TO SEE MAGNETS THAT COULD ONLY BE FOUND HERE.
IF YOU LIKE MAGIC BUT ARE LIKE ME AND CAN NEVER MAKE ANYTHING WORK BY READING ABOUT IT THIS IS THE PLACE FOR YOU.PROFESSIONAL TRICKS ARE PERFORMED BY THEM. IF YOU DECIDE TO BUY A TRICK THEY WILL TAKE YOU BACK STAGE TO SHOW YOU HOW ITS DONE.EVERY TRIP MEANS A NEW TRICK FOR ME.
IF YOU OR YOUR CHILDREN LIKE LOGOS THIS PLACE WILL TAKE A CONSIDERABLE AMOUNT OF TIME. THE STORE HAS EVERYTHING LEGO AND THE PLAY AREA IS GREAT FOR SMALL KIDS
GREAT DISNEY ACC. - FURNITURE IS FOR THE TRUE DISNEY FAN, A LITTLE MUCH FOR THE CAUSAL FAN.
WATCH WHILE THEY MAKE TOP OF THE GOODIES, THERE IS JUST TO MUCH TO PICK FROM.
i collect disney art so i enjoy this store the best of any.my wallet is not big enough to get all that i want. but i keep coming back every trip.
Just can't deside which room to decorate. Great fun for the true disney fan
If you are looking for Disney art of any kind, check out this store. Products range for the theme park ride posters (Haunted Mansion, Pirates...) to art cells from the movies. You have to appreciate the quality of these works and if you can look past the price-tag, you got to think this stuff would look great in my house!
Great staff and good tricks.a bit pricey but quality stuff on hand
If you like sports and disney, there no better place to shop
Like the typical shop at the exit of a major attraction, the merchandise here is all themed toward the Tower of Terror. It's got mugs, clothes, movies, playing cards, sweatshirts, t-shirts, etc..etc... It's got a good selection of items and is still close enough for you to run through and get back on the ride again.
We went to the store the first week it open and loved it. I thought it was going to be just another toy store, but I was wrong. The selection is great from the Disney themed board games to the Make a Mr. Potato head doll makes this one of the toy stores I have seen.
Mickey's Star Traders is a good gift shop. Located in Tomorrowland, you can actually take an overhead, yet quick look around the store from the Tomorrowland Transit Authority which rides past it. I usually visit to pick up some quick snacks or souveniers before getting on the TTA. The service is always good, they have a good selection of clothing, toys, candy, etc..etc.. to choose from. It's a good place to stop off at.
I liked this shop. Best place to find photo albums and stationary. Prices are Disney prices, of course, but there are good deals at this store that you don´t find at the parks. All the different sets of stationary are found here: the Mickey family, the pooh family, the Mickey at the office, etc.
The Art of Disney is an excellent store for all collectors, even if you want to just take a look inside. The store features all different kinds of art from disney films, coins, real painted cells, you name it they have it. Its a great store just to take a look around, you shouldnt leave the marketplace without going inside!
A good selection of Gift. This shop is located in Tommorowland next to Alien Encounter and Cosmic Ray's Starlight Cafe.
This Candy shop has a huge variety of candy.
Great store... especially the huge wall of characters!! Great for adults & kids. I enjoyed the selection of books, hard to come by in most Disney stores. Great store.
This is probably the biggest and best themed shop in the entire Resort. If you want it, it's probably here. However, this is often extreemly busy and lines can seem daunting. This shop is a must see, but I usually like to aviod the hassle of shopping here and buy my souvenirs from some of the smaller shops.
Oh the smell when you enter the door - they must pipe cinnamon. Mrs.P never leaves without spending less than $100, it must be something in the air!?! Quality merchandise all year round, although popularity from start of the Fall usually takes the edge of off the service. Do mail order, but too afraid that goods will arrive damaged by the time they reach us in the UK
The merchandise is great, the service is great. They know their frames.
Tatooine Traders is a great stop-over after riding Star Tours. It's full of great Star Wars gifts from books, toys, cards, mugs, t-shirts, etc..etc..etc.. Anything there would make a great gift for the Star Wars fan back home. The service was good and be sure to take advantage of the service for resort guests where your purchases will be delivered to your resort so you don't have to carry them around all day. Lots of cool Star Wars souveniers to be purchased here.
WOW! that's all I can say when I see the goodies at the Gourmet Pantry. They carry all sorts of freshly made treats: cheesecake, giant cookies, chocolates, chocolate covered pretzels, cakes, and more. The also have prepackaged sandwiches and salads, or if you'd prefer they will make sandwiches to order from a limited menu. They carry prepackaged goodies that you would find in the park gift shops as well. There is also a selection of Disney themed dinnerware, cookware, cookie jars, etc.
Disney at home is located in Downtown Disney Marketplace, adjacent to Pooh Corner. They carry a wide range of Disney themed items for the home. The price range varies from $6 drawer pulls to $2,000+ home furnishings. The bathroom accessories are the best! It's one of my favorite stores in Downtown Disney. As far as the kid friendly factor- lets face it this kind of thing is really boring for most kids. They would much rather be over in Once Upon a Toy.
Hoypoloi on Downtown Disney's Westside amounts to a gallery store. They carry very unique items. The items sold here are art and have matching price tags. I would not recomend bringing young childern into this store.
Magnetron sells...well, magnets. It is located in Downtown Disney's WestSide. They do carry more than magnets but not much: keychains, bouncy balls, stickers, etc. They have magnets of all sorts and it's fun just to go in and see some of the very strange items they carry. They even have the mandatory tacky Florida magnets, but be forewarned, the magnets are much more expensive here than at a touristy gift shop. Magnetron is worth a look. Its downside is that its a small store and can be very crowded and hard to get around in at times.
This shop is one of the nicest themed ones in the park. The Splash Mountain theme is carried over into the shop complete with tunnels that look like Briar Rabbit's house complete with nicely furnished rooms. The merchendise available in mostly based on Winnie the Pooh, but the shop is worth a stop if only just to take a look at the wonderful theming.
You may think this is purely artificial, but you're wrong. This is an actual barber shop, and they do a pretty good job! If you're lucky, the quartet will be around to entertain you while you're haveing your hair cut, and they give out first cut certificates for the children. I thought it was a bit steep, but I'm not sure how much Americans pay for a haircut, so I could be wrong.
It has good value for money, and it sure is kid friendly. But I want someone to explain me WHY the Splash Mountain shop has Pooh merchandise. It just doesn't make any sense. And then people ask me why I don't like the bear! He's taking over the whole park!! Anyways, on the shop, you can get books with the Song of the South stories, some plushes, pins, t-shirts, and that's pretty much it. The cart right on the exit of the attraction is MUCH better themed.
One of the best theme park shops, this shop features an assortment of props, curios, and movie posters for sale. While some can be very expensive (if you want a pair of shoes worn ny Cher, they're going to be expensive), but items such as movie posters and lobby cards out on the poarch are less expensive and intersting souvenirs and make great conversationpieces. Definatly worth a visit, if even just to look and not buy.
This large shop on Main Street is the best shop in the Magic Kingdom. The park's version of one-stop-shopping, if you want it, chances are good you'l find it here. Just as good as the shop is the theming around it, especially the wonderful window diorammas based on classic Disney films (It was based on Disney Princesses like Cinderella, Belle, and others when I was there last). A definate must-see for the Main Street area.
The Emporium, right on Main Street in the Magic Kingdom, is one of the best gift shops in all of Walt Disney World. It's really got it all: candy, cards, mugs, dolls, shirts, and other items one can purchase to add to their memorable trip. It's usually packed with people, but with various check-out points scattered in the place, the wait isn't usually that bad. It's a great stop-off point for those doing their Disney gift-shopping or souvenier hunting.
Great little Christmas store...the reason I say little is because I have been told the Christmas store in Downtown Disney is huge compared to this store.....but.. I have not been to the Christmas store in Downtown Disney....yet... I am going there on my next trip. Anywhoo...this is a nice little Christmas store accross from the Hall of Presidents. It has a nice selection of disney themed ornaments and snow globes to name a couple. One of my favorites is the Swakoriski (spelling?) Crystal Mickey head logo ornament I got for my mother last year....a bit on the pricey side here...but worth a look around none the less. (watch the little ones in this store....alot of expensive breakables)
I just walked past this shop on Main Street USA...and I saw the watches in the window. I stopped dead in my tracks and turned around... My friend asks me "What?", I said "Watches!....This could be dangerous" as I love a good watch... :) I walked in and started to drool and ogle over the dozens of great disney themed watches that were on display. I was looking for a specific kind for months though... It had to have a nice blue face with a semi shiny stainless steel band with a quality clasp...and it had to be a chronograph... water proof would be a big plus to. I found it here...I looked at the price tag..and it was not too expensive...but it was more than I wanted to spend. I figured if I did not get it I would never be able to find it again... and I would regret not getting it for the rest of my life. So I broke down and whipped out the plastic (cha-ching!). The watch is a little heavy...and bulky...but, its a manly man watch and it is supposed to be. I am not good at adjusting the bands myself...so I asked if they could adjust it for me... and I would come back later that day...He said "no...we will do it right now for you...as we ring you up!" I was estatic! (as I did not really wanna come back as I was going to Epcot that evening) All in all...its a great watch...I wear it everyday...the service at Uptown Jewlers is great! If you want anything from your basic Mickey watch...to the really cool chronograph I picked up...or even limited edition personlized (comes with a great box or tin) watch... Uptown Jewlers on Main Street is the place to go!
This is a favorite store of mine. Gives you a great chance to purchase many hard to find Disney animation cells with the knowledge of assured authenticity. There is a great range of items, ranging from $50 up to $10000s! Yu can also have an opportunity to see Disney animators at work creating custom cells.
I visit the store on every visit to MGM. If you are a fan of celebrity photos (signed), movie props and other collectables, this store is for you! Prices can be expensive, but then you are buying one-of-a-kinds!
There is really nothing that can't be said about Mickey's Star Traders that can't be said for most other WDW Stores. It features the same merchandise as most other stores in WDW, but in a tomorrowland themed building. You can get an MK or WDW 4 Parks Shirt, an Autograph book, and Mickey Mouse ears.... as you can do in the Emporium, County Bounty, and at least 1 store in every land at MK and every other park/resort
This is a Spencers Gifts store... there is no better way to put it. Albeit, sans adult accessories. It has many different novelty items (from mundane 'B' movie-ish toys, to glow sticks, to weird wigs), and a fairly good selection of WDW (namely Tomorrowland and Alien Encounter) merchandise. Given how busy it usually is, the store is not the cleanest in WDW, but the unique merchandise definitely makes up for it
This shop has one of the best WDW/Magic Kingdom selections I've seen! I would do most of my shopping here, as it has most everything you would find out in the parks!
This shop is great for any sports fan or ESPN fan because they have loads of merchandise for both. When you first walk in the first thing you notice is to your right there is a huge statue of two boxers and I believe there are a few other statues all over the store. The Athletic Club is a great store!
Pooh's corner is a good sized shop selling nothing but merchandise featuring Pooh and his 100 acre pals. It' located adjacent to the Disney Home store. This shop doesn't have any merchandise that you can't get at just about any Disney gift shop or another, but it's all in one place, no running between shops to find that perfect plush. If you are looking for something from the 100 acre wood you'll find it here.
I love this shop for its feel and its merchandise. I got a great book there, Tales rom the Twilight Zone, a compilation of three previously published books, and it has what I think are the best episodes of the series written by none other than Rod Serling himself. The kids will have a blast with the weird toys they have around, and who hasn't looked twice at those cool shirts with Mickey, Goofy and Donald riding the Tower of Terror?
Since I'm a big Indy fan, this one is a certified stop for me whenever I hit the Studios. I'm still hitting myself for not getting the leather jacket the last time I was there. They also have the hats (of course!), fake snakes and bugs, posters, books, maps, post cards, t-shirts. THey used to have toy guns, I don't know if they still do.
This store is great. Whenever I need a DVD or CD that I can't find anywhere else, I go to Virgin. It may cost me $1 more, but it sure as hell beats having to order it online and risk it not arriving. This is a great addition to WDW, a store run by a company that actually cares about its clientele, and is run well.
If you love Christmas, this is your place. There's only one word to describe this store: cute. It's pretty expensive, but some items really are worth it. You better hold small children by the hand while browsing: too many fragiles.
Kids and adults go nuts when they approach this place. You can spend a long time just appreceating the amazing statues made out of LEGO blocks that they around its area. You can find basically everything LEGO here, but I did think it was little expensive...
I remember going in there whenever I needed to kill some time before a movie, and I was NEVER able to come out empty-handed. If you're a music fan, this is heaven. If you're a movie fan, like me, they have EVERYTHING! It gets crowded, but I gave it an Excellent because they can be helpful when they want. They even let me buy the Tarzan DVD one day before its actual release, when they were still getting out of the shipping boxes, because I told them I'd be coming back home that same day. Their book variety could be a bit better, and their price range is just fine.
This is the biggest Disney Store around. This fact alone should make you drop by. Now that Downtown Disney has Once Upon a Toy, you'll probably find more toys there (duh!), but if it's Disney, you'll definately find it here. Service is great, but it gets confusing when it's crowded.
Go here! Spend money! Do it Do it Do it! This store is a refreshing alternative to the latest batch of WDW merchandise location, which all seem to offer the exact same things. In this partnership with Hasbro, WDW Guests can purchase most Hasbro and WDW toys, as well as many specially themed Hasbro classics (Disney Park Monopoly anyone? How about Wilderness Lodge Lincoln Logs?). It is a breath of fresh air in the oversaturated WDW Merchandise department. I hope most, if not all new WDW stores are this original.
Once Upon a Toy is the newest addition to Downtown Disney. They carry some Disney themed merchandise that is only available there: Haunted Mansion Clue, Walt Disney World Monopoly, Disney theme park Mr Potato Head, and more. One of the biggest draws of this store seems to be the build your own Mr Potato Head station. Good luck if you try to do this, I've never seen people so cut throat at WDW, LOL. Right now there is a novelty factor with this store and, in my experience, it is packed at all hours, with crowds centered in the first two rooms. These two rooms contain the Disney themed merchandise. They have some really great stuff, brave the crowds and check it out.
My favorite Downtown Disney browsing place. Love the cinammon smell that hits you when you walk through the door. They don't just have Disney themed items in here, but a whole host of Christmas stuff from tiny ornaments to huge trees. There's also a section out back where you can buy personalised items such as the elusive Guest of Honor badges, towels and mugs.
If you can't find something here- you won't find it at all! They have just about any Disney merchandise you could want (except art and collectibles- you have to go to art of disney for that). The one downside is that it's incredibly crowded at all hours. Despite that fact the cast members are cheerful and helpful.
This is one of those shops that is a necessary evil. You should always know where the place to buy film is in case you run out. However, the people who work inside are experts, and I cannot speak highly enough about them. They were able to remove film from my camera that had broken by going into a dark bag and put it in a film case for me so that I did not lose any pictures. Keep places like this in mind.....they're there "just in case"
The Art of Disney is one of the stores I always tend to visit multiple times on each trip. If you are a collector of Disney art pieces, this is the place for you. There is a wide variety of unique items available for purchase. Even the most picky of people would be hard-pressed to find something that was not to their liking. The prices are fair (after all, many of the items are collector's pieces), and the Cast Members are all very knowlegable, friendly, and willing to help make a selection that is right for you.
If you're looking for anything Disney, this is the place to be. Almost all merchandise sold in the parks is available in this one store. With so much stuff you'll be in shock when you enter the store. Sections in clothing for everyone in the family, housewares, park souveniers, plushes, pins, watches, media, and so much more- it will keep you shopping for hours.
This store seems a little out of place to me. The merchandise selection is very minimal. I would definetly save your shoping for elsewhere in the Disney MGM-Studios.
If you're a Disney Villain fan, like me, you will like the Beverly Sunset at Disney's MGM-Studios! Most people who know me know I go crazy in any theme park gift shop, Disney or otherwise. This shop has a little something different. My favorite part is the Siamese cats peering at you when you enter the store. The next best part is the selection of Disney Villains themed merchandise, and Fantasmic! merchandise. I spent over $100 in this store, so you might want to limit your spending...also, pick up some of the chocolate covered pretzels! They were very good while waiting in line for Fantasmic!
