Description

Nestled along the shores of Seven Seas Lagoon, Polynesia comes to life at Disney’s Polynesian Resort. The resort, which opened in 1971, captures South Pacific island flair with lush landscaping, colorful birds and flowers, waterfalls and Polynesian dancers. A tropical interior, complete with bamboo-style furnishings, welcomes guests to this monorail resort. A family-fun swimming pool features a giant volcano and a water slide.

Counter service restaurant and bakery featuring salads, burgers, flatbread, pineapple Dole whip, and fresh fruit.  Located on the lower level of the Great Ceremonial House.

Refillable Mugs: Disney Rapid Fill Drink Mugs are sold at Food Courts and Quick Service Restaurants at all Walt Disney World Resort hotels, and can be used at any resort self-service beverage location. The prices of the mugs vary based on Guest preference for number of days for refills. 'Ohana character breakfast features Mickey, Pluto, Lilo, and Stitch.  Dine on eggs, sausage links, breakfast potatoes, bacon, biscuits, and fresh fruit served family style.  For dinner 'Ohana features wood grilled meats, Hawaiian inspired appetizers and vegetables, and dessert served family style.  Advanced dining reservations are strongly recommended.  

Luau Cove (Tuesday-Saturday- 5:15pm and 8pm)
Home to Disney's Spirit of Aloha Dinner Show watch Hula dancers and fire eaters while you enjoy an all you can eat meal with Polynesian flavor.   Advance dining reservations strongly recommended.  Disney's Spirit of Aloha Dinner show requires 2 table service credits on the Disney Dining Plan.

White sand beaches located along the shores of the Seven Seas Lagoon.  For health and safety reasons swimming or playing in the water is NOT permitted.

Polynesian Resort Transportation

Bus:  The bus stop is located in front of the resort and to the left after exiting the Great Ceremonial House.

Monorail:  The resort monorail is located in front of the resort with service to the Grand Floridian Resort, Magic Kingdom, Contemporary Resort, and Transportation and Ticket Center (transfer here for the Epcot monorail).

Water Taxi: provides service to the Grand Floridian Resort and Magic Kingdom.  Located in the back of the resort on the Seven Seas Lagoon near the volcano pool.
