AMC Disney Springs is the first AMC movie theater in Florida to be updated with Cinionic Laser projectors.
AMC will reopen at Walt Disney World following 5 months of closure due to COVID-19.
AMC is attempting to align its reopening with the release dates the big summer movies, including Tenet and Mulan.
The AMC Downtown Disney 24 is a good place to eat and talk before the movie and the fork and screen is awesome! I can't wait to do it again to see Cars 2 in 3D and eat in the movies!
This is certainly a unique experience that many people will enjoy. Upon arrival there was a little uncertainty in our group as to how the showing would be organised. It is best to arrive early to ensure that you can start to eat before the movie starts. Having said this there was very little distruption by the servers during the film. The layout of the theatre gives ample room for easy movement without anyone having to walk in front of the screen. The only critism was that the seats are quite far away from the table area in front of you. This meant that it is necessary to literally sit on the edge of your seat whilst you are eating. The food won't win any mitchellin stars but the menu has a wide enough variety to satisfy anyones needs. I do think that the prices for the food are a little expensive. Especially the appetizers. You should also remember to choose your food carefully for eating in this environment. Eating chicken wings was a little difficult and messy in the dark! Overall it was a great experience and something worth trying once. I'm not really sure I would go again mainly due to the cost vs sepearetly eating in a restaurant then going to the movies.
Very cool experience, well run, good service, but mediocre food My experience at the Dine-In theatre was a good one. It is very well organized and runs smoothly. The service was friendly and attentive without being overbearing and interfering with the movie. It's a very unique way to watch a movie and I think it's going to be very popular. The type of food is what you would expect for this type of experience but I'd love to see higher quality ingredients used in the preparation and maybe a few more healthier options. I felt the quality of the food was a bit disappointing particularly for what it cost. The chicken wings were soggy and lacked any kind of kick. There is a section of the menu including typical movie treats like m&m's, raisinettes and popcorn which I thought was pretty cool. I think in the future I would probably skip the hot food and get a drink and dessert and maybe some popcorn. Overall though I think it's a great addition to DTD.
