Disney Vacation Club (DVC) has revealed the purpose of the recent construction at EPCOT’s Canada Pavilion. The project will bring the first in-park Welcome Home Center to Walt Disney World, set to open this spring.
Named Château de Voyage, the new space will serve as a dedicated location for guests to learn about DVC Membership while exploring a model room from the recently opened Island Tower at Disney’s Polynesian Villas & Bungalows.
Located in the Canada Pavilion’s Hotel du Canada building, this marks the first time DVC has introduced a Welcome Home Center inside a Walt Disney World theme park. The space aims to provide prospective members with a convenient opportunity to learn more about DVC while touring a detailed room model.
Construction at the pavilion had previously fueled speculation about various possibilities, including a bar, lounge, or exhibit. More details about Château de Voyage are expected to be shared as the spring opening approaches.
A similar Welcome Home Center opened at Disney Springs last year, called Gateway to Discovery.
