Epcot’s new live entertainment act, the Canadian Lumberjack Show made its debut performance today at the Canada pavilion.
The show at the Mill Stage features two teams of lumberjacks competing against each other in a variety of lumberjack skills. Axe throwing, chainsaw work, and log sawing are all part of the act. The Canadian Lumberjack Show marks a significant departure from the previous Off Kilter Show, trading a musical act for a thrill-action show.
The 15 minute show is currently in soft opening, and has not yet appeared on the Epcot times guide or in park signage. We'll be back to bring you a review once the show officially opens and any of the soft-opening test and adjust is complete. The Canadian Lumberjack Show is the first act to open following a widespread clear out of existing acts at Epcot. Spirit of American Fife and Drum Corps, World Showcase Players, MO’ROCKIN’, and Off Kilter were all discontinued last month. Replacement acts are expected throughout the coming months in the UK Pavilion, Morocco, and Italy.
