Disney released a new update today on Disney Starlight: Dream the Night Away, the new nighttime parade coming to Magic Kingdom, offering additional insight into the creative vision, featured characters, and overall experience — but still no official opening date.

The latest details focus on how the parade uses the Blue Fairy’s magic to connect guests with characters from across Disney and Pixar’s animated films. Disney describes the parade as a continuation of its legacy of nighttime entertainment, with nods to Main Street Electrical Parade and SpectroMagic through lighting, music, and choreography.

Confirmed Parade Units So Far:

  • The Blue Fairy opens the parade
  • Peter Pan and Wendy
  • Asha from Wish
  • The Madrigal family from Encanto (Mirabel, Isabela, and Bruno)
  • Elsa from Frozen
  • Disney Royals: Aurora and Prince Phillip, Tiana and Prince Naveen, Belle and the Beast, Cinderella and Prince Charming
  • Miguel and Pepita from Coco
  • Moana, joined by Pua, HeiHei, and a manta ray representing Gramma Tala

Disney says more characters will be included, with these floats appearing in the order listed.

Despite the growing list of details, Disney continues to hold back a confirmed opening date. The latest post ends with: “It won’t be long before the music swells and the twinkling lights flicker,” but stops short of announcing when guests can expect the parade to begin.

With entertainment schedules shifting, signs continue to point to a summer debut, likely in July. But for now, the exact date for Disney Starlight: Dream the Night Away remains unannounced.

Problem with that is it could stop being popular but again there’s no signs pointing to it other then complaining on forums like this one.

Interesting. I thought the price points he was "suggesting" were $20/person higher. But, I'm sure he'll think about that affordability again today after his morning 3-hour massage, followed by his Dom Perignon-based mimosas with fresh-squeezed orange juice. Side note - Post of the day.

Welcome Thats the trakkers line for clicks for payment …one of the older and somewhat notorious “hey I’ll do a vlog” types. The difference is they had an angle…now that there is so much volume, the angle is more of a straight line. Is it? This is all amateur stuff. There’s no talent/recruitment…really anything that gives it any kind of professional legitimacy. That’s not a problem…people make their own way all the time…but with no structure the failure rate is going to turn out off the charts. If it’s just a fun hobby..no problem. If people believe it’s “their calling”…it will hurt. Similar to the boomerang effect of the college program. My suspicion is those two phenomena actually cross a lot…just a hunch. Young gentleman…everything shows “no signs of slowing”…including all the trends we have forgotten like lunch yesterday. Buyer beware…anything technology based evolves before you know it more often than not

They are probably struggling to decide between the $129 and $139 price point. D’Amaro has instructed them to ensure affordability for the typical American family with 2 1/2 houses and no kids.

    …you’re joking, right?

There should be more detailed discussion when…you know?…there’s an actual parade to watch?

The bigger ones can hit those numbers, but it is not consistent and like showbiz, it's constantly competitive. There is more money from supporters than what youtube pays in most cases.

    1. Thank you! 2. I’m not sure what you mean by “pay the price” but yeah there can be multiple different versions of a “product “ in an attempt to be somewhat on topic by this coming July magic kingdom will have had 3 different night parades each with different styles to cater to different generations and audiences. 3. it’s more nuanced than that. 4. This trend shows no signs of becoming unpopular. Ps. Sorry for the weird format. Sites acting weird.

…ahhhh…I do appreciate your optimism so that means keep it coming? Now it’s time for everyone to “pay the price” and gets some? not saying that…I’m saying Disney management is already terrible…they don’t need a legion of clingers churning out pods giving the impression that what they’re doing is gonna work as they move forward. until people move on…then where will these drifters be?
