In a change to Walt Disney World's entertainment schedule, the Disney Festival of Fantasy parade at Magic Kingdom will be shifting from its traditional 3 pm slot to a new 2 pm time beginning August 4. According to the current official calendar, this adjustment will remain in place at least through August 31.

Disney Adventure Friends Cavalcade will also see a scheduling change. From August 4 through at least August 31, the cavalcade will have only one scheduled performance at 11:15 am, replacing the current two performances per day at 10:30 am and 11:45 am.

The shift in entertainment begins the same week that Magic Kingdom enters party season, with Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party kicking off on August 9.

I wonder how they will manage the new nighttime parade? Hire more float drivers and performers?

This is just to allow for float drivers and performers to get proper rest. Between am rehearsals for Halloween and Christmas, daily operations, events, and overnight rehearsals they are always stretched very thin.

Hopefully with Wonderful 2025 News!!!!!!!!!! Looks like FOF is going back to 2pm for Party Season like it was Pre COVID. I'm bothered by only 1 Adv. Friends. Either add another one, or add another MMFF or Finally return the Trolley Dancers!!!! Please let MK Entertainment get a BIG Boost during or after D23!

Here's a look at updated performance times starting in August for the Festival of Fantasy Parade and Disney Adventure Friends Cavalcade, according to the Walt Disney World website. Festival of Fantasy Parade: from August 4 though August 31, the performance time shifts from 3pm to 2pm. Disney Adventure Friends Cavalcade: from August 4 though August 31, there is one scheduled performance at 11:15am.

Update on performance times for the Festival of Fantasy Parade and Disney Adventure Friends Cavalcade, according to the Walt Disney World website. Festival of Fantasy Parade: from June 30 through July 6, the performances times are listed as 12pm and 3pm. From July 7 through at least August 3, the performance time returns to just 3pm. Disney Adventure Friends Cavalcade: on June 30, July 1, July 2, July 5 and July 6, the performance times are listed as 5:10pm and 6:25pm. On July 3 and 4, there is a single performance at 5:10pm. From July 7 through at least August 3, the performance times are 10:30am and 11:45am.

Paint the Night was great at Disneyland, but it would feel really tired at MK. They deserve their own. If they're going to go through the operational hurdles of having a nighttime parade, they might as well do it right. They don't want another Harmonious. Obviously Paint the Night is NOT Harmonious, but if they don't do a good job with this, it's going to be very frustrating. I guess I'll take what we can get.
