Walt Disney World's Magic Kingdom is adjusting the performance times of its two daily parades from late May 2024.

Disney Festival of Fantasy Parade will move to two performances per day from May 26, 2024

Effective May 26, 2024, the Disney Festival of Fantasy Parade will move to two daily performances, stepping off at 12 pm and 3 pm. The parade is currently being performed at 3 pm only.

Disney Adventure Friends Cavalcade will be performed twice per day from May 26, 2024

Also, starting May 26, Disney Adventure Friends Cavalcade will move to two evening performances at 5:10 pm and 6:25 pm. Current performance times are 10:30 am and 11:45 am.

Disney Adventure Friends Cavalcade made its Magic Kingdom debut in February 2022

In recent years, Disney has routinely shifted parade times on a seasonal basis, and these adjusted times are likely to remain in effect through September.

I think they are perfectly content with its current state. Diehards are frustrated, but the vast majority of visitors enjoy the parade and think it's great. I wouldn't expect much changes or upgrades to it until it's retired at the end of the decade when Villains Land opens.

I think the best bet if they ever bring it back to a full cast would be summer with Starlight but I'm doubtful anything will happen.

I saw an update in this thread and thought it meant it was brought back to it's former glory. Silly me, should've known that wasn't gonna happen, especially since it's only 11:30 AM and the parade hasn't even happened yet today lol

Disney has added showtimes for Festival of Fantasy through February 1: January 1 through 13: 12pm and 3pm January 14 through Feb 1: 3pm

WDW has been refurbishing their pyro barges the past month, so doubt it. Probably conflicted with the DL incidient recently.

the change in parade times made me think of the funny question: what time does the 3pm parade start? Now it starts at 2. 😆

I wonder how they will manage the new nighttime parade? Hire more float drivers and performers?

This is just to allow for float drivers and performers to get proper rest. Between am rehearsals for Halloween and Christmas, daily operations, events, and overnight rehearsals they are always stretched very thin.

Hopefully with Wonderful 2025 News!!!!!!!!!! Looks like FOF is going back to 2pm for Party Season like it was Pre COVID. I'm bothered by only 1 Adv. Friends. Either add another one, or add another MMFF or Finally return the Trolley Dancers!!!! Please let MK Entertainment get a BIG Boost during or after D23!
