Construction walls are already up around the Frontierland Shootin’ Arcade at Walt Disney World’s Magic Kingdom.

The Shootin’ Arcade closed last night to make way for a new Disney Vacation Club lounge.

The construction walls span the entire front of the arcade, beginning near the DVC kiosk and extending to the Frontier Trading Post store.

You are now permanently banned from the Dining Plan...

Maybe, but in 9 years we've only lost about 10 points total, but not because we let them lapse, we thought we had banked them but didn't. HOWEVER, we got them back calling customer service (8 months after the fact).

I find the placement of the toilet above the refrigerator to be very convenient.

I think ya bought too much… But resells were the right play 👍🏻

We bought in 2016 two SS resales and one Poly resale, then a 25 point direct sale later from Poly. Have no clue what the minimums are now.

Both of which, ironically, were larger accommodations than a Duo Studio at Island Tower.

I used 100 points to access a freshly-cleaned handicapped-accessible stall in MK. It was that or a week in Boulder Ridge and I stand by my choice.

…oh that’s coming Or maybe they’ll settle for cash? Since the restaurants are typically half empty🤔

How many points do you have to use to enter the lounge? I'm guessing it's on the same level as a week at one of the Poly bungalows?

Sirwalterraleigh20 days ago

Of course they do But it’s nuts because they’re pushing to get everyone in a park in it. Because they’be drained their potential client pool otherwise

About $12… But I was just guessing The price per point is laughable nuts…but I have no idea what the min buyin is these days?

For DVC I think Disney wants exclusivity in your face. It both promotes DVC and creates FOMO ;)

Epcot82Guy20 days ago

That's a valid point, but I think a very hidden entrance to a space well disguised into the second story of buildings in NOLA Square (and even today) is not a fair comparison to DVC. Golden Oak maybe, but even that doesn't play the role DVC does for the average guest today via advertising, architecture and even now (albeit minor) attraction conversions. Most guests have no clue about Club 33. I would guess the same is NOT true for DVC (by design). Exclusivity in your face is a different beast than how Disney used to handle exclusivity.

hey, we only spent $24k on points... ;)
