According to the Walt Disney World refurbishment calendar, Gran Fiesta Tour Starring The Three Caballeros at EPCOT is scheduled for a temporary closure beginning January 6, 2025.

Disney says that the boat ride is expected to reopen to guests on March 15, 2025.

Gran Fiesta Tour is a fan-favorite boat ride that follows Donald Duck, Panchito, and José Carioca on a whimsical journey through Mexico. Its vibrant scenes and catchy soundtrack make it a staple of the World Showcase.

It’s an enjoyable ride, never a line when I’ve gone. Mexico is an awesome experience and the margaritas are fantastic.

Decent touch up overall but here are a few of my observations from yesterday. Loading area has spots on each of them. The outside two are bright white and the middle is a yellow white. Picky. But. Simple to fix! Saw one animatronic not working and much of the lighting overall was too bright IMO. It was nice to see the scum line gone at the bases of the sets though 🙂. Really not too bad. Nice to see this attraction get some love.

I do know when it first reopened, it wasn’t at 100%. Some effects have been fixed since then. Of course, lighting being too bright is subjective.

sorry but from what I experienced the lighting was way too bright, things still not working, and nothing changed in terms of effects except the various screens quality look better and of course the animatronics in the finale I think they did a lot of work on. Some of the figures in the children section still not working and havent been touched, I dont think they touched anything up with paint or props etc, same dusty old plants etc. Im nitpicking of course, but the videos dont really show these details especially the blinding spotlights lighting the rooms and scenes which for me anyway, detracts from the atmosphere might as well have the house lights on. Just my opinion.

I think that one is supposed to be dancing alongside a boy, am I right? Might be the issue.

They could use Rio, since they own that one now!

They've obviously fired all of their details people.

Did they bother to dust while it was closed?

Still a couple of bits that need sorting (one of the AA's not moving at all for example) but overall looks like a decent refresh. Although give it a few days and I'm sure someone will complain about 'Golfo de Mexico' at the end of the ride.
