Entertainment cuts coming across Walt Disney World including The Muppets Present Great Moments in American History

A number of Walt Disney World entertainment offerings are planned to close over the next month as part of a series of operational cutbacks.

The Muppets Present Great Moments in American History opened in late 2016

The Muppets Present Great Moments in American History, The Royal Majesty Maker will both close at the Magic Kingdom, and 'Move It! Shake It! Dance and Play It!' Street Party will be reduced to two shows per day.

At Disney's Hollywood Studios, the recently opened Lightning McQueens' Pit Crew and Incredibles Super Shindig will both close.

Hakuna Matata Time at Disney's Animal Kingdom will end.

The reductions are expected to go into effect before October 6 2019. Disney is yet to make any officially announcement on the changes.

We were in AK on Oct. 2 looking for her. We asked several cast members where/when we could find her and they told us her last day had been earlier that week. We were so sad as we had never seen her.

We were at AK for Burudika's second to the last day. We'll be going tomorrow for their last day as well. Here are a few photos from tonight. Trying to have fun but it's very sad. It's so hard to believe it's their last day! They will be so dearly missed. 417968

The band, at least, isn’t going anywhere. Just this show based on an IP. They’re still around playing traditional Mexican music.

today is the last day for Muppets in Liberty Square, the Royal Majesty Makers/Sword in the Stone ceremony in Fantasyland and the last time Mousekedance it will be performed three times a day. any update on Divine at DAK?

I think the proper term so as not to offend the organic beings is "trimmed". 🤣 I'd hate to see her go though, she adds a shock and awe aspect to the park for both new and old guests.

Not sure if this is the same as last year or not but citizens of Hollywood only have like 3 sets a day at 12:15, 2:00, & 3:00. Looks like 5-7 per day. I went to see Burudika today... they did “he lives in you” from the lion king on broadway. So good. Also enjoyed the acrobats and the harp player. The entertainment really brings the village alive.
