Disney has today updated operating hours and released FastPass+ availability for the upcoming Toy Story Land. We've put together a quick guide to everything you need to know about how to experience the land when it opens June 30 2018.

FastPass+ at Toy Story Land

FastPass+ is now available for those guests staying at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel, and are within the 60 day prior to check-in window. For example, if you have a 14 day stay arriving on June 16, you would be eligible to make a FastPass+ for Toy Story Land on June 30.

All three attractions in Toy Story Land will be included in FastPass+, including Slinky Dog Dash coaster, Alien Swirling Saucers, and Toy Story Mania.

FastPass+ tiering at Disney's Hollywood Studios is being adjusted, with all three Toy Story Land attractions in Tier 1, and all other FP+ attractions (such as Tower of Terror and Rock 'n' Roller Coaster) in Tier 2. You can select one Tier 1 attraction, and two Tier 2 attractions. This means that you can only FP+ one Toy Story Land attraction.

Extra Magic Hours at Toy Story Land

Morning Extra Magic Hours for Walt Disney World Resort guests will be held everyday from July 1 to August 31 2018, 7am to 8am.

Evening Extra Magic Hours will be held on Fridays during July and August, from 10:30pm to 12:30am.

EMH will include all of Toy Story Land and other attractions throughout the park.

Park Hours during Toy Story Land opening

Operating hours on opening day June 30 2018 are currently 8am to 11pm, moving to 8am to 10:30pm throughout July and until August 25 2018. In addition, EMH will be offered (see above).

View the full operating hours along with EMH on our unofficial calendar.

Height Requirements at Toy Story Land

Slinky Dog Dash, the family-friendly roller coaster, will have a 38” height requirement, and Alien Swirling Saucers will have a 32" height requirement.

More than that and its footprint has been expanded.

Your out of date: In 2024, Basic Fun filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection. The company will use bankruptcy proceedings to repay its creditors while remaining in operation. Basic Fun emerged from bankruptcy on November 1, 2024.

Worse than that, K'nex filed for bankruptcy and they're backlogged. No telling when they'll get those giant K'nex pieces now. Good lord!

Target has been sold out of giant K’nex recently, hopefully they get some more in stock soon so they can finish it off

Crazy to think this land is like 10 acres.

But yet if you go over to All Star Movies you will fully be immersed within Andy's room in small size! The contrast Comparison vs here is wild.

It's such a badly designed land.

If they really wanted to go all in on Toy Story they could build a pathway to animation courtyard and use that empty space of nothing. There’s also the employee parking garage just north of SDD and RRB, if relocated could be used for expansion of TSL. Doubt it would ever happen tho

where would you put the battleship game? The land is kind of landlocked. There is probably just enough room to put in a spinner, but not much else?

DHS could use a water ride. If we're talking expansion. Is there room for a Battleships boardgame "come to life" attraction. While we're at it, I think it's time for TSM to get an overhaul. Maybe have an area where we venture into Sid's room and it gets weird. OR A Halloween overlay. Damn this land is lame. Even the theme isn't fully realized. Maybe by the time Toy Story 8 hits we'll get a land refresh.

Now why can't they add the small spinning slinky for the kids and families. This coaster isn't family """friendly"""! It's NUTS!
