Voices of Liberty performance in the American Adventure Rotunda - January 2022

The Voices of Liberty returned to the American Adventure rotunda this past weekend with an updated sound and a new look.

Gone are the traditional costumes and most of the early American songs, and instead, we see and hear a much more modern show from the nine-piece a capella group.

Watch the video below to hear the Voices of Liberty perform once again inside the rotunda. (4K YouTube version)

Some of the songs included in the 15-minute show are Stars and Stripes Forever, Moon River, You'll Be in My Heart, and Star-Spangled Banner.

Many of the performers are new to the Voices of Liberty, and we understand that more changes will be coming, including updates to the song list and new costumes.

The Voices of Liberty sound fantastic in the rotunda, and the intimate space highlights their vocal talents so much better than when they perform on the theater stage with microphones.

You can see the Voices of Liberty inside The American Adventure rotunda daily, with current showtimes of 12pm, 12:45pm, 1:30pm, 2:15pm, 3pm, 3:45pm, and 4:30pm.

Btw, it probably makes me sexist, but I hate how some women will be wearing pants. 🤣 I say that as a woman, though

    And ran whimsical chocolate factories…

What if American Colonialists wore leisure suits? 🤔

I get your point but I found some Great things from JCP!

They at least actually look like intentional costumes instead of ill-fitting off-the-rack stuff from JCPenney. 🤷‍♂️

    It's.... an improvement at least.

Maybe some people like them. I still think they’re hideous. 🤣

There wouldn't be much Disney could have done differently, FAA did checks and approved the software and hardware that was in use by sky elements in Orlando similar to what processes Dronisos goes through. They weren't just dropping, some of the ones which started failing were flying way outside the safety zone instead of just dropping down as intended. Universal and Disney will likely be waiting to see what the FAA investigation outcome says.

It was alarming to see those downtown Orlando drones just dropping like flys and into an area where people were present. What happen to the laws that said they could not be over people? Maybe that's just a Disney rule? I guess after seeing that Footage at lake Eola Orlando, this is a good rule. Having said that I Disagree this will kill any chance of Drones in use at Luminous or Dak or other WDW. Fireworks have injured cast, exploded on world drive, caused numerous fires on property and there continue to be used. Will this slow down the arrival in order for Disney to be extra diligent, likely! But accidents happen and if Disney wants to add drones, this won't be the reason they stop.

    Not really.

    CompedDec 25, 2024

I think we all know that Disney would have done a much better job making sure it was all safe, rather than whatever company the city used... Universal pretty publicly has only paused their drones though, so much like the crocodile throughout WDW we could see them return eventually.

There goes any chance of drones being added to Luminous or DAK, if there was a chance in the first place, after that drone incident in downtown Orlando.
