This one came out of nowhere, but the Contempo Cafe at Disney's Contemporary Resort has closed for refurbishment today, and will reopen on Monday August 27 2012.
During the closure, a temporary quick service dining location has been setup in the Grand Republic room on the second story of the Tower. Open from 7am to midnight, it will feature a limited number of items from the normal Contempo Cafe menu. The pool bar will have extended hours of 11:00am to 10:00pm.
For those of you who have refillable mugs, the fountain drink machine at Contempo Cafe will remain accessible.
