Pizzafari at Disney's Animal Kingdom has reopened from refurbishment with a new color scheme and revised menu.
Like the rest of Discovery Island, the exterior of Pizzafari has been repainted with more earth tones, and with a much less whimsical look. Much of the exterior decoration has been removed, and new signage introduced. The interior appears to be largely the same as before.
The menu has undergone a slight revision, with the addition of a Mediterranean Pizza in place of the former Vegetable Pizza. The Mediterranean Pizza is served with Antipasto Salad and topped with Alfredo Sauce, Mozzarella, Parmesan, Pesto, Roasted Tomato, Roasted Red Pepper, Kalamata Olive, Arugula, and Red Onion for $10.49.
Much of the work during the refurbishment was for the addition of a new table service restaurant at the rear of the restaurant, which will open in 2016.
