Car Masters Weekend is
confirmed to be returning to Downtown Disney this summer, on June 2 and June 3 2012. Launched last year (
photos from last year's event), Car Masters Weekend celebrates the "Cars" movies with meet and greets with Lightning McQueen, Mater, and Finn McMissile
Events for this year include:
- a movie marathon at AMC Downtown Disney 24 with showings of “Cars” and “Cars 2."
- an appearance by automotive designer Chip Foose, who contributed to the design of Ramone in the “Cars” film.
- a LEGO interactive zone.
- “Cars”-themed topiaries.
- a DJ and food trucks.
- an appearance by Jay Ward, Cars guardian.
- a chance for guests to test-drive Ridemakerz model cars.
- a car show presented by Hess that will feature more than 100 classic, muscle and exotic cars.
