Walt Disney World has released the first details for the 2025 EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays, presented by AdventHealth. The seasonal celebration runs from November 28 through December 30, 2025, bringing back fan-favorite experiences, entertainment, and holiday treats from around the world.
Here’s what’s confirmed for this year’s event:
Festival Dates and Planning
The festival kicks off the day after Thanksgiving, with holiday-themed entertainment, food booths, and limited-time experiences throughout EPCOT. Guests can already book theme park tickets and Disney resort hotel stays during the event period.
Entertainment and Live Performances
Candlelight Processional
Held nightly at the America Gardens Theatre at 5:00 p.m., 6:45 p.m., and 8:15 p.m., this retelling of the nativity story features a live orchestra, choirs, and celebrity narrators. The narrator lineup will be announced later this year. Seating is first-come, first-served, and dining packages with reserved seating will return—more details to come.
Holiday Storytellers in World Showcase
Storytellers share how different cultures celebrate the holidays, with performers returning to each pavilion, including:
- Las Posadas Celebration (Mexico)
- Barn Santa (Norway)
- Chinese Lion Dancer (China)
- La Befana (Italy)
- Daruma Storyteller (Japan)
- Hanukkah Storyteller (Morocco–France walkway)
- Père Noël (France)
- Father Christmas (United Kingdom)
- Canadian Holiday Voyageurs (Canada)
JOYFUL! A Celebration of the Season
This uplifting concert series features Central Florida group D’Vine Voices performing holiday music in gospel, jazz, and R&B styles.
Festival Food and Beverage
Holiday Kitchens
Holiday Kitchens return with seasonal food and beverage offerings inspired by global traditions. The full menu will be revealed closer to the event. Expect a mix of returning fan favorites and new dishes.
Holiday Cookie Stroll
Buy five designated cookies and collect stamps in your Festival Passport to receive a redemption cookie at Holiday Sweets and Treats. Confirmed to return this year: the Coffee-Mocha Cookie with coffee buttercream, cocoa nibs, and chocolate-covered espresso beans.
Activities and Ride Enhancements
Olaf’s Holiday Tradition Expedition
This paid scavenger hunt takes guests across World Showcase to find Olaf in 13 locations, each tied to a cultural holiday tradition. Complete the map to claim a small prize at Creations Shop or World Traveler.
Living with the Land – Glimmering Greenhouses
This attraction receives its seasonal overlay with added lights and decorations throughout the greenhouse portion of the ride.
Holiday Character Appearances
Guests can find Père Noël in the France Pavilion and the mischievous Barn Santa in Norway, both sharing stories tied to their countries’ holiday traditions.
