Walt Disney World has released the first details for the 2025 EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays, presented by AdventHealth. The seasonal celebration runs from November 28 through December 30, 2025, bringing back fan-favorite experiences, entertainment, and holiday treats from around the world.

Here’s what’s confirmed for this year’s event:

Festival Dates and Planning

The festival kicks off the day after Thanksgiving, with holiday-themed entertainment, food booths, and limited-time experiences throughout EPCOT. Guests can already book theme park tickets and Disney resort hotel stays during the event period.

Entertainment and Live Performances

Candlelight Processional

Held nightly at the America Gardens Theatre at 5:00 p.m., 6:45 p.m., and 8:15 p.m., this retelling of the nativity story features a live orchestra, choirs, and celebrity narrators. The narrator lineup will be announced later this year. Seating is first-come, first-served, and dining packages with reserved seating will return—more details to come.

Storytellers share how different cultures celebrate the holidays, with performers returning to each pavilion, including:

  • Las Posadas Celebration (Mexico)
  • Barn Santa (Norway)
  • Chinese Lion Dancer (China)
  • La Befana (Italy)
  • Daruma Storyteller (Japan)
  • Hanukkah Storyteller (Morocco–France walkway)

Activities and Ride Enhancements

This paid scavenger hunt takes guests across World Showcase to find Olaf in 13 locations, each tied to a cultural holiday tradition. Complete the map to claim a small prize at Creations Shop or World Traveler.

Living with the Land – Glimmering Greenhouses

This attraction receives its seasonal overlay with added lights and decorations throughout the greenhouse portion of the ride.

Fake news, last time I heard...

Ya know how the MK transforms overnight from Halloween to Christmas? I head a rumor that is not happening this year. Is this just fake news?

Dude you should see some of my posts when Fastpass ended and Disney started charging for lightning lanes. I'll pay for a multi thunder crappass when I get a lobotomy and pigs fly in the upside down. I'm going to UNI next year and I'm gonna piss away so much money there just to stick it to the mouse!

Okay, I’m just giving you options for the week. You don’t have to be a jerk about it.

Yup, just spend more money ad I might have a good time. Buy that Hopper Pass, Buy that Lightning Lane, Stay on Site, pay $199 pp for a Christmas nigt that used to cost $39. LOL. I'm only going becuase I have 2 kids playing in the Thanksgiving band show at MK. I'll gladly save the money and go to UNI or DL in the summer.

Are you buying park hoppers or one park per day? If hoppers, go to MK on a party day to enjoy low wait times, then return in the evening on a non-party night to see fireworks. If one per day, maybe get some Christmas party tickets and enjoy it.

Magic Kingdom will close early for Christmas Parties 4 TIMES during Thanksgiving week/weekend. I am reluctantly going back to WDW for the first time since 2018 and it loks like it will suck more than ever!!

That’s right. I’m thinking more of a day guest M&G.

All problems of stalking aside, aren't Jack and Sally in Tinkerbell's old spot?

    Ayla17 days ago

Ah. That explains why I'm clueless. 😂

Elf character from the parade that went viral on tik tok last season. It was starting to get a little unhealthy with people stalking this performer, so I doubt they'd want to give them more attention.
