Mobile Order at Walt Disney World will soon be expanding to include sweet shops in addition to the existing quick service restaurants.

Using My Disney Experience, you can just tap "Order Food," select your arrival time and bypass the line to pick up your treats.

Locations include:

  • Candy Cauldron, located at Disney Springs – available Sep 14
  • Karamell-Küche featuring Werther's Original Caramel, located at EPCOT – available Sep 16
  • Zuri's Sweets Shop, located at Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park – available Sep 21
  • Goofy's Candy Company, located at Disney Springs – available Sept 23

In addition, Main Street Confectionery will also join Mobile Order when it reopens later this year.

Eligible merchandise discounts also apply when you use mobile order service at these locations. Add your valid Annual Passholder or Disney Vacation Club membership is affiliated to your Disney account, and your discount will be automatically applied.

Don’t give them any ideas

Well, duh.

I'm actually good with this one. The lines at the sweet shops are usually pretty long when we visit.

And not using cash.

Some people like pay toilets! 😷

Misread that headline. Thought it said, "Walt Disney World's Mobile Order expands to sweat shops". I immediately thought, "figures..."

I appreciate the option, and it seems like service has leveled off where you're no longer placing an order and getting you're "It's ready!" text over an hour later, like you were for awhile. As long as they're giving people the option to order in person if they want to (and it seems like they are), I can't get worked up about this one. There's bigger fish to fry.

Order? No. Click “I’m here”? I believe so. Disneyland required me to be close enough. I presume WDW does?

do you have to be in the park to mobile order? might be nice to have a coffee waiting for me after ordering it on the monorail. hmm

Mobile ordering in the parks is a huge improvement, and I'm excited to see it being expanded to more and more locations.

Agree with 100% of this post...

Absolutely. I have no issue with mobile order. Where I want staffing is parks janitorial and at the resorts…clean the park restrooms more often and take my damn trash and have adequate front desk staff! I couldn’t care less about missing out on lines at QSRs and confectioneries. Neither of those things are a pleasant part of my vacation. Long lines for food are something I always just suffered through because they were part of the deal. But, I miss neither.

Now if only they could add mobile order to more places in Epcot.... Every QS in World Showcase and the festival kiosks could use this.. Still don't understand why Sunshine Seasons lost it...

Okay. Net impact is: I wait less to get treats and go on more rides; Disney can send CMs elsewhere where they are needed, further improving my experience. Given trends in the industry at large, Disney MUST streamline in order to provide a good experience to guests. No one marches to Guest Services to say, “I had a wonderful time waiting 20 min for a caramel apple today!”
