Disney is using the My Disney Experience app to alert Walt Disney World guests of Hurricane Ian safety measures.
In the latest update, guests were notified via the app to shelter indoors inside a building or hotel room by 9pm.
The latest forecast track puts Hurricane Ian on a path directly across Central Florida, passing over the Walt Disney World theme park area.
The latest local forecasts expect the worst conditions to arrive in Walt Disney World's Orange County at about 10 pm Wednesday, continuing through to 9 am on Thursday morning.
Winds up to 80mph are expected, with rainfall up to 2 feet. Flooding and large-scale power outages are expected.
