The new Brooks x runDisney collection officially makes its debut tomorrow, April 3, during the opening day of the runDisney Health & Fitness Expo at Walt Disney World. The release includes four limited-edition shoes, each tied to the Springtime Surprise Weekend or classic Disney characters, and marks the first launch under Brooks’ new role as the official running shoe of runDisney.

  • Launch Date: April 3, 2025
  • Location: runDisney Health & Fitness Expo at ESPN Wide World of Sports
  • Purchase Limit: 1 pair of each design (4 total) per adult purchaser on Day 1
  • Virtual Queue: A virtual queue will be used for access to the Expo; check the Walt Disney World website for details.

The Four Designs

Adrenaline GTS 24 Core runDisney – $150

A match for the event’s core merchandise collection, this version of the Adrenaline GTS 24 features bold color blocking and a subtle Mickey Mouse detail. The shoe includes Brooks’ nitrogen-infused DNA LOFT v2 cushioning and the GuideRails® support system.

  • Men’s sizes: 7–15
  • Women’s sizes: 5–13

Ghost Max 2 runDisney Springtime Surprise – $160

This shoe incorporates a variety of colors to reflect different race themes from the Springtime Surprise Weekend. It comes with swappable lace badges to match the races.

Features: rocker shape, wide base for added stability

  • Men’s sizes: 7–15
  • Women’s sizes: 5–12

Ghost Max 2 runDisney Minnie Mouse – $160

Red, white, and unmistakably Minnie. This polka-dotted edition includes a bow detail on the heel and is available in wide sizes.

  • Men’s sizes: 7–15 (wide available)
  • Women’s sizes: 5–12 (wide available)

Ghost Max 2 runDisney Mickey Mouse – $160

A darker design accented with yellow and blue, with hidden Mickey details throughout. Like the Minnie version, this one’s also available in wide sizes.

  • Men’s sizes: 7–15 (wide available)
  • Women’s sizes: 5–12 (wide available)

High Demand Expected

As this is the first Brooks x runDisney release, demand is likely to be high, particularly on the first day of the expo. Runners and collectors alike are expected to line up (virtually) for the chance to grab a pair before they sell out.

These shoes won’t just be available at this weekend’s event—Brooks plans to continue offering new Disney-themed designs at future runDisney race weekends.

I got both the Mickey and the runDisney (because I have a problem). I wore the Mickey's to the parks all day post race on Sunday and on Monday. They were super comfortable and great for park touring. Not sure I would run in them though.

Seems as though they are sold out of medium width but have a good variety of wide sizes left in that one

I was not impressed. I might even say a tad ugly. I don't run in New Balance, but I thought their designs were nicer. Subtle, not in your face like the Brooks. The only thing I like was the Mickey design laces.
