Walt Disney World’s Winter Summerland Miniature Golf will undergo refurbishment this spring, with both the Winter Course and Summer Course set for updates.

The refurbishment is scheduled to take place from April 28 to June 16, 2025. During this period, guests will be unable to reserve tee times in advance. However, one course will remain open throughout the work, allowing guests to visit without a reservation.

Winter Summerland Miniature Golf is located near Disney’s Blizzard Beach Water Park and offers two themed courses — one featuring a snowy, winter-inspired design and the other showcasing a sunny, summer theme. Both courses are known for their playful Santa Claus storyline and creative obstacles.

The last refurbishment for Winter Summerland was in 2019, with the winter course receiving attention.

They are a fun diversion when the weather is nice and one has "been there, done that" in the parks about 58 times. Or when you don't have a pass and are on-site for various reasons not related to park visitation.

I find it odd that these lack extensive IP. Seems a no-brainer. Would a Zootopia Mini Golf drive more people to the area? I honestly don't know. Glad these are getting some TLC but they'll still be perpetually stuck in the 90s. It's the curse of outdoor miniature golf venues. Fun but easily skippable.

When I was there at the end of January, the pole itself was no longer there. I'm hoping they removed it to work on it and will reinstall it during this refurb.

It really needs it. It's such a cute course, but it's really obvious that they don't take care of it. The Summer course's North Pole hole (you're supposed to hit the ball into a hole that makes it swirl up the pole. At least, I think that's what's supposed to happen) is so broken it has a metal blocker forcing you to not even try.

We did the winter one in September. The jack in the box at the end wasn’t working. I hope they fix that.

I can only speak for the winter course but it could use a bit of a refresh. Some fresh paint and new turf in a few places... that sort of thing.
