Yesterday (Dec 6 2011) saw a significant step to towards the opening on the new Four Seasons Resort Orlando with leaders attending a groundbreaking ceremony on the site of the new resort. In attendance were Meg Crofton, president Walt Disney Parks and Resorts Operations US and France, Kathleen Taylor, president and chief executive officer of Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts, Larry Silverstein, president and CEO of Silverstein Properties, and of course, Mickey Mouse.
The new 444 room resort which includes up to 90 Four Seasons private residences is expected to open in 2013.
