Reviving the "treehouse living" tradition, these elevated octagonal-designed villas allow guests to nestle into the woods and explore their natural surroundings.
The Treehouse Villas closed before the arrival of Hurricane Ian earlier this week.
We stayed here back in January 2012. This by far is our favorite stay! We were able to park right outside of our treehouse (small sidewalk to the treehouse) and that helped because we were able to leave my dad's wheelchair in the suv until we got ready to catch the bus. He used his cane since we werent that far from the room. The bus stop was less than 25 feet from our vehicle which helped. We never had an issue with the internal bus at all. We had a little wait for an Epcot bus one morning due to one breaking down, but it was not bad. and the buses were NEVER full. there were always empty seats.
Back to the rooms. the layout of the treehouse is outstanding. the kids have plenty of room to run around and not worry about distubring anyone above or below you! they can even play out on the deck and watch the boats go by. Being January, we didnt swim, but others did. The weather was perfect. a little cool in the mornings and evenings but comfortable during the day. My neice LOVED the whirlpool bath. i put one drop of soap in with her and we almost lost her because of bubbles!!! lol...she had a blast!
We never heard any buses go by and a very muted boat horn could be heard, but it was not that noticeable inside the villa at all. Planning another stay here in Feb. 2015!!!
