My dad was like a kid going in and getting his hair cut. he even let it grow out, and refused to get his hair cut before the vacation. it was the first thing we did that morning, and it was a great way to start the day. the prices are reasonable, no more than you local barber (not supercuts, but a local person). gals can go in to, and they people are very friendly. ONe guy was from Illinois, and we had a grea ttime talking to him about his days back home. He was genuinely happy that we talked about home with him, and gave us (me and my sister) a bit of extra pixie dust to go with dads!

This is so much fun! It's not just for guys...girls, stop by & get your hair french braided with a little pixie dust too. It doesn't seem to matter what age person is in the chair, it always seems magical. :) So it's a little more than the local Supercuts, but you're paying for atmosphere too. Try it!

You may think this is purely artificial, but you're wrong. This is an actual barber shop, and they do a pretty good job! If you're lucky, the quartet will be around to entertain you while you're haveing your hair cut, and they give out first cut certificates for the children. I thought it was a bit steep, but I'm not sure how much Americans pay for a haircut, so I could be wrong.

The Harmony Barber Shop is an old-fashioned barber shop on the City Hall side of Main St. USA next to the fire hall and Emporium.

Adults $17 (plus tax)
Children (age 1 - 12) $14 (plus tax)

The barber shop operates from 9am-5pm and offers haircuts at a first come first served basis.

First haircuts

"First haircuts" are a specialty of the barber shop. Kids who have their first haircut at the shop get complimentary Mickey Ears and a certificate.
