These latest construction photos from the LEGO Imagination Center show several of the exterior building walls opened up to facilitate the extension to the building. The retail space is set to be expanded by 3500 sq ft.
As well as the expanded store, new LEGO models of Disney characters will adorn the exterior. The store closed on January 27 of this year, and will reopen in mid April 2011. During the closure of the main store, you can still get your LEGO fix from the
temporary store near to Once Upon a Toy.
