Disney's Blizzard Beach Closed for Sixth Day as Cold Blast Extends Through January 26

Disney's Blizzard Beach Water Park will now remain closed through Sunday, January 26, 2025, as cold weather continues to impact Central Florida with morning lows continuing to hover in the 40s.

The Blizzard Beach closure began on January 20 as cold and wet weather moved into the Walt Disney World theme park areas, and the reopening date has now been pushed back multiple times.

Blizzard Beach is now scheduled to reopen on Monday, January 27, with operating hours from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm.

  • Closed Through: Sunday, January 26
  • Reopening Date: Monday, January 27
  • Operating Hours on January 27: 10:00 am to 5:00 pm

    Blizzard Beach has reached a phased closure and is only accepting WDW resort guests at this time. The parking lot is also at capacity and guests are being redirected to park at DAK.
