Disney’s Blizzard Beach Water Park will reopen Nov. 13 with new touches from the Walt Disney Animation Studios film Frozen.

The two hours of additional theme park time take place after regular park close at EPCOT, Magic Kingdom, and occasionally at Disney's Hollywood Studios.

The new Frozen features will be part of the kid-sized thrills of Tike’s Peak featuring statuettes of Olaf and his Snowgie pals in the warm wading pool, as well as Anna and Elsa’s igloo castle.

In addition to the new Frozen theming, Blizzard Beach will also offer a new lift for transporting the tubes to the top of Runoff Rapids.

The water park, which features heated water throughout the park, will also have an enhanced holiday atmosphere.

This year there will be limited-time holiday offerings through Dec. 31 that include holiday-themed treats, snowfall and festive inner tubes. Guests can even meet a tropical-dressed Santa for the ultimate Florida holiday experience.

Typhoon Lagoon will have its last day of operation on November 12 before starting its annual refurbishment,

It's Disney, they could put on a white Christmas if there were enough bucks to be made. They used to do things just to show they could.....

For some reason, I initially read this as a joke– BLIZZARD Beach closed due to low temperatures! Get it?

I wish they would stop shoehorning unconnected IPs. Frozen doesn't belong.

I know that one.... The frame is plumbed to be filled with LN2 so when the wet tubes run up it drips and freezes. Like the saying goes don't judge until it is open ;) :angelic::hilarious:

People aren’t going to like the new lift. I can see that there will be complaints about it. I saw it recently in passing by the property.
