Walt Disney Imagineering has filed a new construction permit for EPCOT's Canada Pavilion in Walt Disney World.

The construction permit carries the usual vague description of "Install Set Elements" and is assigned to Icarus Exhibits. The long-time Disney vendor specializes in custom theming for immersive environments and has recently worked on TRON Lightcycle Run, Star Wars Galaxy's Edge, and Toy Story Land.

Despite the Canada Pavilion wrapping up a major exterior refurbishment project, construction walls have again appeared at the pavilion.

The area being worked on is at the Hotel du Canada, in an area of the building that has been off-limits to guests for years.

While we don't know what is coming, with Walt Disney Imagineering involved, it is likely to be a guest-facing space, with the possibility of a new exhibit or bar/lounge space. Disney has yet to make any announcement on the project.

From last night, you can see from the fluorescent lights that all the false windows have been removed on the upper floors

It’ll be a glorious 3 hour dedication ceremony hosted by the VP of DVC and Celine Dion

Is that to celebrate Canadian St. Patrick's Day?

Dangit. That was a roller coaster over twenty minutes and six pages of my starting to psyche myself up for L'Hôtel du Whisky with Yukon Jack shots like the Aquavit in Norway.

Whatever it is will apparently be opening in January

Yes - the stopped closing the film! A small victory! Now if that hot garbage France BATB sing along would just go away.

Happy to see something in those buildings again (and finally for the stone houses?), but yeah, this is not great. But they stopped closing the film for the food and wine festival, right?

DVC pavilion, goodbye Canada, you were once loved. I would think cast would be a tad irked. Or maybe they just dont care either anymore, its a job.
