Cast in Bronze at Disney Springs

Cast in Bronze has returned to Walt Disney World after an absence of almost 20 years.

Cast in Bronze is currently performing at Disney Springs in The Landing near to Characters in Flight as part of the seasonal entertainment line-up.

Showtimes are 6pm, 7pm, 8pm & 9pm, October 26 - 28 2022.

The mobile carillion used by Cast in Bronze is just one of a handful in the world that performed initially at EPCOT from 1998 to 2003 during the Christmas holiday season.

The carillons of Cast in Bronze consist of 35 bells and have a total weight of four tons each. Synchronized lighting adds to the impressive sound.

Expect to see more of Cast in Bronze later this year as part of the Disney Springs Christmas.

This look interesting. Hopefully I'll get to see it in person in December.

One word counter-argument: Contractors. Almost all go Disney Springs’ entertainment is contractors.

I believe he lives in (or maybe near) Orlando.

I have fond memories of them playing before the nightly lighting of the Christmas tree at EPCOT.... Of course there was also a ceremony for the lighting and the Lights Of Winter were right behind them. Good memories.... Not so much anymore. I will have to get over to their show in the Springs when we go this early December. We have their CD somewhere.

This was out in April during the Tower of Terror 10-miler as well.

Guy who plays a carillon is one guy. Guys who staff the restaurants is a thousand guys.

Would love to see this! Great addition or comeback, whatever you choose to call it. And..... of course some are complaining about Disney bringing something back. Unless I'm just not getting the humor I just don't get it.

They should have a guy in a Pooh suit playing the giant bells.

Which fits my argument nicely. They're willing to spend money on entertainment and things that enhance the guest experience, but they're still struggling to staff "normal" employees. Guy who plays cool giant bells? Yep. Teenagers to stick in a Pooh suit? Nope.
