Disney has officially unveiled the full name and logo of its upcoming nighttime parade: Disney Starlight: Dream the Night Away.

Set to debut at Magic Kingdom in Summer 2025, this new parade promises to light up your summer evenings with a spectacular mix of Disney nostalgia and cutting-edge innovation.

Disney Starlight: Dream the Night Away is designed to continue the rich tradition of nighttime parades that hold a special place in the hearts of Disney fans. This parade combines nostalgic storytelling with glowing technology. Expect to see favorites from classic and modern Walt Disney Animation Studios films, including Peter Pan, Encanto, Frozen, Moana, and more. The parade will be led by the Blue Fairy from Pinocchio, whose magic will guide each float and costume.

Nope! The Spectromen refresh in 2007 was Weirder!!! Almost kept me from seeing Spectro in 2009. But I did and everything after the Stone-face Spectromen was Spectromagic Perfection!!!

I do agree that Starlight does not give the vibe of a party parade. I personally am torn on what I want the music to be. I guess as long as it’s memorable and a earworm then I’m fine with it.

Those children must have been the "Key to energy!" If you don't know what I'm talking about, you clearly haven't listened to the source audio for the SpectroMen as I have...

How quickly we forget the 3 children sacrificed nightly to SpectroMen. The 90s were wild.

Stop living in the past. Olaf and Moana are where it's at now. Sheesh... There would have to be a show worthy of using Jiminy as the host. After the 1-2 punch of Wishes! and SpectroMagic, that's a tall order.

Disney is verrrrrrrry slowly starting to take elements of 80's/90's disney with their projects i feel like. Original music for the Epcot nighttime show, WOM inspired Test Track, that Space 220 restaurant, even the Enchantment theme song had less of the modern disney pop vibes and more of a classy vibe. I could see this parade bring a continuation of that trend

Maybe...MSEP never made that connection.....

I feel like that could be possible since the parade is about the Blue Fairy.

I want Jiminy back as the announcer but I doubt that will happen…he was the voice of my WDW childhood.

I have no issue with you continuing to visit (or not—it’s your life) or criticising Disney. The only thing I don’t understand is why you would mock others here for being so-called Pixie Dusters given that you yourself still seem to be a user, so to speak. Just live and let live.

I was there for one reason. I would not have been there if not for that one reason, I would have been home. Let me get the crayons out. Again. "Continuing to visit" is a misnomer, and it does not equate to supporting current direction, projects, pricing, etc. I am well within my right to make an appearance from time to time, and I am also well within my right to criticize things based off that appearance and past experiences. If I didn't visit from time to time, you'd sit behind your keyboard and criticize me for "never going, so how can you be critical??" and think yourself so high and mighty for doing it. So by all means, continue to play the fool for criticizing people no matter what they do.
