A new permit has been filed for the Parade Storage Building in Magic Kingdom, potentially signaling preparations for the highly anticipated nighttime parade, Disney Starlight: Dream the Night Away, set to debut in Summer 2025.

While there is no confirmed connection between the permit and the new parade, the timing suggests this could be part of the logistical groundwork necessary to support such a large-scale entertainment addition.

The Parade Storage Building, located backstage behind Tiana's Bayou Aventure, serves as the home base for Magic Kingdom’s parade floats, housing them when not in use and providing a workspace for repairs and maintenance. The addition of a parade as technologically advanced as Disney Starlight will likely require infrastructure updates, such as expanded storage capacity and upgraded power systems.

Stay tuned for additional details as we get closer to the summer debut of Disney Starlight: Dream the Night Away.

I was watching this again and realized we might also get the Big Ben clock tower that, in Dreaming Up, comes before the big moon float. However instead of Marry Poppins maybe it will be Tinkerbell?

I know it’s been said the end of May is not happening for the debut but I wonder if they might begin previews around that time?

I would be shocked if there were that many

They weren't at debut; it got pumped up as successful by being compared to only a small handful of films, but it was definitely not pulling high numbers. Like, it got half of what Elemental got in the same time and that movie has been completely absent from the entire park since its debut. Unless there's stats showing it's completely turned around since then.

15 or 20 wouldn’t be bad. Spectros count would be amazing but that’s unlikely. I think if there are several more floats yet to be revealed either they will start releasing concept art more often or they will keep some of the floats a surprise.

I predict there will be between at least 15 to 20 floats. We’ll see for more announcements of new floats.

That would be nice but all they build is ip based lands now and I don’t know if most ips can support 3 to 4 rides without them becoming too alike. I’m mean let’s say there’s 1 e-ticket one d-ticket and one c or b-ticket. That’s a lot for most ips.
