A new musical experience, ECO-RHYTHMICS, has premiered at Disney's Animal Kingdom today. Located just outside the former Dino-Rama entrance, this high-energy show features a very talented three-piece percussion band using instruments made from recycled and reused materials.

The band performs familiar Disney tunes with a creative twist, blending rhythm and melody in a way that fits Animal Kingdom's celebration of conservation.

Watch below for a quick look at the new show. (4K YouTube)

Each performance lasts 15 minutes, with showtimes hourly from 9:20 am, with the final performance of the day at 3:20 pm.

I agree with the loudness comment. The band at flame tree bbq is far too loud and changes the vibe of the entire area - from one of curiosity and exploration to urban noise. Live performances are great but they don’t need to be so deafening. Subtly in experiences is something Disney used to focus on more. That said, this looks like a cute show and it’s a smart way to obscure the construction dead zone.

I was hoping they'd end up back in Pandora but I guess not.

By far. All they have besides characters is a few things in Galaxy's Edge and the Toy Story drummers; the seasonal additions were very nice.

I'm also sure it is purposefully placed here... seeing as the land is now mostly closed and that corner of the park is turning into a construction zone. Gives something for that corner.

That's what I'm saying. Maybe the gramps over here can just turn down their hearing aid or find one of the many quieter areas of the parks

I thought I was trippin walking by this today, wondering how long it had been going on. Glad to know it’s new

Studios continues to have the worst streetmosphere of all the parks

It's new, but not really an addition. This is really the new home for the Discovery Island Drummer Flotilla that was previously on the river. I think this is a better show.

New entertainment that is themed appropriately and adds life to the Park is good. This certainly meets that standard. In no way is this a bad thing. We constantly see posts of “Disney”s cutting entertainment…” or “Disney’s too cheap…” Now, they add something that looks cute, fits the theme and provides entertainment and the comments are “It’s too loud”??? My word people, lighten up. You really don’t need to find the negative in everything!

I sought out Jammitors a couple weeks ago (MDE app shows when they appear, but not where!). Very glad they are still around at WDW.

That doesn't make me view it much better; making generic entertainment so it can be moved around easier doesn't really benefit anyone but Disney who doesn't need to come up with something else as often. Don't they already have drummers? And the band on Discovery Island? I can walk past that and run into this near immediately after, potentially passing by the Discovery Island Drummers along the way. Come on.

This reminds me to submit an email praising the Jammitors so we can hopefully keep that going at Epcot forever.

I think for some reason, all management personnel are under the impression thaT loud=FUN, so therefore the louder they can make any space, the more fun guests will be having...Sadly the restaurant owners in South Florida believe this....Which really changes where I go to and how often I eat out at restaurants... I can't stand being in super loud places to dine... It is not fun to be unable to talk to dining companions because they have chosen to turn up the volume on the music...same with areas in the Theme parks....

Not sure what the planned lifespan of this is, but perhaps its been developed to live on beyond the closure of Dinoland in 2026. In its current format, this show could be moved to other areas.
