LAKE BUENA VISTA, Fla. -- Bering Strait, the Grammy-nominated Russian group that has made its mark in country and bluegrass music, will kick off a lineup of global performers for the Epcot World Music Concert Series June 13-Sept. 1 at Walt Disney World Resort in Lake Buena Vista, Fla.
The series will be a feast for the senses featuring musical acts with influences from all parts of the globe. Epcot guests will enjoy musicians from Russia, Africa, Europe, Canada, Brazil and Australia. Six international touring groups will take the America Gardens Theatre stage in Epcot World Showcase three times each day Tuesday-Sunday. A resident performing group in Epcot World Showcase will showcase its talents onstage each Monday.
The lineup of international touring groups includes: Russian country and bluegrass group Bering Strait (June 13-29); Canadian fiddler Richard Wood (July 1-13); Australian rockers Brother (July 15-27); African/Celtic group Baka Beyond (July 29-Aug. 10); Brazilian musical artists Mestre Ambrosia (Aug. 12-24); and Senegalese and West African fusion group Vieux Diop with Wassalou (Aug. 25-Sept. 1).
The Epcot World Music Concert Series is included in regular theme park admission to Epcot.
