The EPCOT dedication plaque has made its return to the main entrance of the park, now incorporated into the sleek new signage that reflects the park's updated aesthetic.

The plaque is mounted on a black background, framed by a contrasting blue border. The design also features EPCOT's bold font, a signature element of the park's refreshed visual style.

The dedication plaque includes the text written by Card Walker.

To all who come to this Place of Joy, Hope and Friendship
Welcome
Epcot is inspired by Walt Disney's creative vision. Here, human achievements are celebrated through imagination, wonders of enterprise and concepts of a future that promises new and exciting benefits for all. May EPCOT Center entertain, inform and inspire and above all, may it instill a new sense of belief and pride in man's ability to shape a world that offers hope to people everywhere.

This update follows a series of enhancements to EPCOT's entrance, including the installation of new lighting, flags, landscaping updates, and a refreshed entrance fountain that pays homage to the park's classic look.

You can find the plaque near the EPOCOT main entrance at the flag pole.

Should have stripped it down to the concrete, it would have been allot more cost effective even if it meant just having the waterfall and no show. They could have easily had it with the new gardens. It would fit so well in those surroundings with especially with new guardrails.

That’s the sad part, these lights are working like the fountain did towards the end

Third time's the charm?

And pressure washing is not a singular thing. There are wrong ways to pressure washing different objects and materials. Everything being pressure washable is also not a real standard.

Well lets hope they worked out the more involved problems and the lighting will survive the sun and rain over time.

This problem was more involved than pressure washing

Valid concerns. Let’s just hope they learned their lesson this time around.

Well lets see what happens 🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞 It would be sad if the rain broke it! Honestly I do believe it was the pressure washer the first time around. But even if they refrain from pressure washing it, I am concerned about the long term reliability of these in a year or so in the sun and the rain.

Light sprinkles in Epcot, nothing worthy of taking cover yet but the forecast calls for it to be worse. Edit: Brief downpour. There's a pair of stantions spread over part of the lights but I'm not sure if that means anything (it's not a line, just one rope).

It’s actually raining today lol, at least here at DAK

This shows its not incompetence, that they can do something right if they really want to. We know they are not going to pressure wash these now. Lets see how they survive a rain storm. The good thing is it rains less this time of the year, so it should be good at least until the rainy season starts.

I was there last night, and they’re in better shape now than they were opening night. No incorrect colors or bad sections

I want to see it in person, in action, to see if there are any intermittent segments etc.
