Disney has confirmed plans to reopen Walt Disney World theme parks from the two-day shutdown due to Hurricane Ian.
All four Walt Disney World theme parks will open on September 30 2022, with a two hour exclusive access for Disney Resort hotel guests at park open. Magic Kingdom will also host Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party for the previously sold out September 30 night.
As always, Disney Park Pass theme park reservations are required for entry. All transportation including Disney Skyliner, monorails, busses and watercraft are planned to be operating.
Walt Disney World Hurricane Ian reopening schedule - Friday September 30 2022
Magic Kingdom: 8am - 10am for resort guests only, then from 10am - 6pm for all guests.
EPCOT: 9am - 11am for resort guests, 11am - 9pm for all guests.
Disney's Animal Kingdom: 11am - 1pm for resort guests, 1pm - 7pm for all guests.
Disney's Hollywood Studios: 10am - 12pm for resort guests, 12pm to 8pm for all guests.
Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party will go ahead as planned from 7pm.
Disney Springs: 10am - 11:30pm
Fantasia Gardens Miniature Golf will reopen on Friday, September 30 at 3:00 p.m.
What remains closed at Walt Disney World due to Hurricane Ian ?
Copper Creek Cabins at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge and the Bungalows at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort are temporarily closed through Friday, September 30 2022.
Treehouse Villas at Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa will be closed until Monday, October 3 2022.
Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground will remain temporarily closed at this time.
Disney's Typhoon Lagoon water park is closed and expected to reopen October 2, but that date is not yet confirmed.
Winter Summerland mini golf remains closed.
Walt Disney World ticket extensions due to Hurricane Ian closure
Partially used multi-day theme park tickets with a validity window impacted by closure due to Hurricane Ian will be automatically extended to allow use of the remaining unused ticket days through September 30, 2023
