Today we have a great overhead look at the new Festival of the Lion King theater currently being built into a newly expanded Africa at Disney's Animal Kingdom.
Thanks to the aerial photography talents of Scott Keating, you can see the changes that have been made from before construction started through to January 2014. The original Festival of the Lion King theater closed along with Camp Minnie-Mickey back in early January 2014 and is set to reopen in its new location in the summer of 2014. As part of the development, Africa will be expanded with new walkways, along with more shopping and food options.
