A new animated scene based on Disney and Pixar's 'Coco' is coming to Mickey's PhilharMagic this year at Walt Disney World's Magic Kingdom.

The musical number 'Un Poco Loco' will anchor the new scene when it opens to guests at Disney California Adventure park and Disneyland Paris on July 17, before being added to Magic Kingdom Park later this year during the Walt Disney World Resort 50th anniversary celebration.

According to Disney, this will be the first time Disney and Pixar animators have worked on a creative endeavor where characters from both animation studios will be seen together on screen.

The film's original composer, Germaine Franco, has produced a unique 'Coco' score for the new scene in Mickey's PhilharMagic.

No scenes are being removed to make way for Coco, with the new sequence being an addition to the how.

Yeah, I don't have a problem with film based attractions but now with digital they should really lean into that and add some variability to attractions. There's a bunch of rides and films that could be easily enhanced by providing different footage options.

Four dates that would have been better imo to launch this segment: - October 1st: 50th Anniversary duh - By October 15th: Last day of Hispanic Heritage Month - October 31st to November 2nd: Typical Day of the Dead timeline - The same day as Disneyland and Paris 🙄

I am continually shocked that Disney+ isn’t free in the resorts. You can’t watch everything during your stay. It would be a brilliant way to hook people.

I know nothing of anything like this happening, but what if Philhar became "Presented by Disney+" or had some kind of Disney+ branding integrated into it.
