It isn't really a playground. They either need to replace it with a real themed playground like Honey I shrunk the kids or make a finding nemo sub ride like the one in disneyland.
Disney has made some bad choices every now and then but this was awful. The former area of 20K has been replaced with one of the most poorly made playgrounds this side of the U.S. The area looks very rushed and pointless and is the ugliest sight anyone has to endure. Only very little kids might enjoy it but otherwise stay away from the playground. It can be very dirty with tons of kids crawling over the equipment so it's best to avoid the germs. The whole area should be re-demolished and a dark ride should be added. For Toddlers- 8.9/10 stars For Kids- 7.2/10 stars For Adults- 0/10 stars Overall- 3.8 stars
Hey ... Pooh's Playful Spot was obviously not designed for adults ... it's for toddlers. For my 2-year old and 4-year old ... they would have stayed here a long time if we had not pulled them away. Disney has cleverly hidden fans around the parimeter to cool down adults as they watch their kids frolic. The area is pretty simple ... so only younger children will find it interesting. There could be more slides, and more sprayers -- but it is a cute little area as-is. If you are waiting for a Fast Pass time, or a place to do something with a younger sibling who does not meet height requirements ... it is in a nice and central location. /\/\/\/\ Emba 33 /\/\/\/\
I was surprised at how poorly designed this play spot seemed. It had very little shade from the hot Florida sun. There were also few interesting things. My 4 year old was bored after about 5 minutes.
This spot was horrible. Obviously good for toddlers, but they need to tear this down and either: 1. Build the lagoon again and put Finding Nemo Submarine Voyage there! OR 2. Build Mermaid Lagoon there!
Its a large playground safe for the little toddlers and filled with enough poohish things to keep them happy all day if you let them. The only down side is it can sometimes be very crowded and you will likley have to drag your little away when you want to leave.
