EPCOT's France pavilion is operating normally today, March 23, with all attractions and dining available, including Remy's Ratatouille Adventure.
A fire broke out last night at around 7 pm near the backstage area of Remy's Ratatouille Adventure. Photos and videos on social media showed thick black smoke rising near the attraction's show building. The fire originated in a backstage walk-in cooler and was extinguished quickly by approximately 7:15 pm. No injuries were reported.
Cast Members evacuated the pavilion promptly, temporarily closing attractions, dining, and retail locations. Disney reopened the France pavilion to guests at around 8:20 pm. Remy's Ratatouille Adventure reopened shortly after, at 8:45 pm. Impressions de France reopened just before the park closed at 9 pm.
