A new segment has been added to the Tree of Life Awakenings at Disney's Animal Kingdom, debuting tonight and featuring the story of Mufasa from The Lion King.
This limited-time addition focuses on Mufasa's rise from a young cub to the king of the Pride Lands, told through projections on the Tree of Life and accompanied by a new musical score.
The Tree of Life Awakenings run after dark at around 6 pm, with shows happening every 10 minutes until the park closes.
The Mufasa segment plays before the ongoing holiday-themed versions of the Tree of Life Awakenings.
