Here is a first look at the range of themed merchandise for Tiana's Bayou Adventure, which officially opens at Walt Disney World's Magic Kingdom on June 28, 2024. Developed with input from Imagineers who immersed themselves in New Orleans' culture, the products include clothing, home goods, and tasty treats.

Highlights of the new merchandise include apparel featuring Princess Tiana and friends, a Tiana's Bayou Adventure Loungefly Mini Backpack, and plush toys of characters like Louis. Interactive Firefly toys and a variety of home goods, such as water-resistant pouches and chicory coffee mugs, will also be available.

Food lovers can enjoy treats like Mardi Gras Popcorn and Bananas Foster Milk Chocolate Bars, while those looking to bring the flavors of New Orleans home can purchase spices from Leah Chase's family business.

The merchandise will be available at the Emporium at Magic Kingdom starting June 28 and later at the Critter Co-Op in Frontierland. Select items will also be available online at DisneyStore.com.

Agreed. No need to get into why. That has been covered ad nauseum. But if it didn't have at least as many scenes as Splash, it would be deemed as not as great as the original to put it mildly.

Well, this is Texas we’re talking about. 😆

The difference in composition between those still images is staggering.

We are the Special Spice, so as long as we don't break down, the ride is show-ready. In the Summer, I don't break down until about 2 pm.

it's a good thing she's not the main... oh wait

Her head slightly rocking back and forth while the rest of her is static is honestly hilarious.

Agreed. I said it somewhere else here or on the DL version of this thread, but I can't imagine this was anything but intentional. Less AAs or other moving parts going forward, less maintenance expenses. It's a much smaller thing, but felt the same way when they removed the original parrot barker bird in front of PotC.

Seems to be still working in this livestream from this morning (before the first breakdown at 11:52am):

was told the jumping waters effect through the frog trip mushroom marsh or whatever the heck it is, has been broken already this week. Can anyone confirm or seen it running?

It depends on what you define as a success. This is a success as defined by TWDC already I think. Success as defined by the guest, its too early to tell. My personal requirements for success are very basic. Can I get on the ride in a reasonable amount of time and it does not go down. I already like this attraction as its a fun log flume ride.

I have a feeling you're going to love it! 🥰

They’re allowed since they’re Tiana’s service/support animals…

I've said my piece on this, but my biggest problem is how many scenes that were full of AAs were just replaced by nothing. The biggest offenders to me are: Four geese and thre frogs being replaced by one Louis, the Raccoon/Porcupine and sweeping rabbits becoming screens, Br'er Rabbit, Fox, and Bear in the bee cave (and all the spinning bees) being replaced by Mondo and a giant bottle. It just leaves alot of dead space where the animatronics used to fit so seamlessly into the world.
