TRON Lightcycle Run Standby Line
Posted: Monday September 9, 2024 9:26am ET by WDWMAGIC Staff

TRON Lightcycle Run at Magic Kingdom is now operating with a traditional standby line for the first time during regular park hours for all guests.

At park opening today, the standby line for TRON Lightcycle Run opened at 45 minutes, and quickly reached 105 minutes by 9:15 am, before settling to around 70 minutes at 9:50 am. At 9:15 am, the queue occupied the indoor queue, filled most of the outdoor queue underneath the canopy, and extended to the entrance of Space Mountain.

Disney announced last week that it would be ending the virtual queue to be replaced with a standby line beginning September 9, 2024.

A Lightning Lane Single Pass remains available at TRON Lightcycle Run as an alternative to the standby line, currently priced at $20 per guest.

TRON is not currently available as part of Early Entry for resort hotel guests. Still, those already in Tomorrowland for Early Entry began queuing for the ride from 8:30 am ahead of the 9 am opening.

Stay tuned for more updates from the standby line at TRON Lightcycle Run as we get more details on likely wait times to help plan your visit.

How on Earth did they miss putting "END OF LINE" on this sign?? It's a direct quote from the movie!

It's a great attraction ... alebit with everything Disney has produced in the past decade about a minute too short.

Wouldn’t be surprised if they do it after fireworks or near closing time for day guests on a party night.

Yeah, having Big thunder and space down along with Tiana's being pretty unreliable would be bad.

I think they only want 1 tier 1 ride down at a time. Pan>Jungle Cruise> Big Thunder> Space

My fear with the lower wait times is Disney would be incentivized to intentionally run Space with less capacity. They already do it at park open.
