The Flame Tree Barbecue at Disney's Animal Kingdom reopens for business today after several months of refurbishment.
Most of the work has centered around the ordering area, which now offers much more covered space, meaning less standing in the sun and rain while waiting to order.
Parts of the walkways between the covered seating areas have also been covered, again helping during inclement weather. There is more to be covered over the next couple of months, but that work will continue with the restaurant operating as normal.
There have also been some tweaks to the menu, with a couple of new dishes introduced such as the Jamaican Jerk Chicken Salad and the Watermelon Salad. Barbecue favorites such as ribs, chicken and pulled pork remain on the menu.
Flame Tree Barbecue is open from 11am daily, with a closing time around 5pm, or 1 hour before park closes. Check the times guide for specifics, as closing does vary.
