Disney Springs, Walt Disney World's dining, shopping, and entertainment destination, is about to enhance the coffee experience with upcoming refurbishments to both Starbucks locations.

Specific details of the refurbishment and potential closures during the process are yet to be announced, but we understand that the flagship West Side location will be a major update.

Starbucks at the Marketplace

Opened on May 19, 2014, the Marketplace Starbucks became the third Starbucks location at Walt Disney World, following the openings at Magic Kingdom's Main Street Bakery and Epcot's Fountain View. This walk-up location, right in front of World of Disney and opposite the waterside stage, is known for its convenience and quick service.

Unlike other Starbucks locations, the Marketplace Starbucks does not have interior space or seating, making it a grab-and-go favorite for Disney Springs visitors. The outdoor setup allows for a quick coffee fix before diving back into a day at Disney Springs.

Starbucks at Disney Springs West Side

The flagship Starbucks at Disney Springs West Side opened on May 30, 2014. Spanning 4,000 square feet, the Westside Starbucks is a full-featured café offering both indoor and outdoor seating, providing a comfortable space to relax with a coffee while overlooking the Lake.

Inside, guests can find a variety of seating options, complete with a fireplace on the covered patio for those cooler Florida nights. Along with the typical Starbucks menu, this location offers sandwiches, salads, and Starbucks Special Reserve coffees brewed to order using the Starbucks Clover system.

Several of their breakfast sandwiches -- it's been a few years, so maybe they've improved (I certainly hope so), but it was worse than fast food quality. It was like frozen gas station food quality. I also thought their hot black tea was awful, but maybe that's improved too.

    What have you tried?

Starbucks has terrible food, so whatever Summer House produces will likely be better.

That's why Disney now introduces Lightning Lane Mocha when you need that coffee now at $175 it also gives you a pass to see the circlevison film in China for absolutely no reason whatsoever.

Okay. I admit I walked into the HS version a year ago with a family to grab a quick breakfast sandwich or whatever.

Funny you should mention that as most of what they sell in Starbucks isn't coffee. There are a few different beans and roasts to pick from (a very few) and then you have the rest of those things that people that don't like coffee put in the cup to hide the coffee.

Never set foot in it and its already getting a refurb. Well its good that Disney as landlord is treating their tenants good with refurbs. Unless its Disney as landlord telling the tenant they must refurb at their cost?

I just need a perk (pun intended) me up when I wake up. Joffery's packets for my resort room coffee maker is enough for me. The last thing I want to do is enter a theme park then stand in line for coffee. Yes, there will be plenty of standing in line for attractions. I just don't want to waste my time standing in line for coffee.

Starbucks is actually a pretty good value at WDW (comparatively) - the prices are not crazy high. In addition to coffee they have a nice selection of tea as well. The Starbucks at west side also offered the reserve coffees which are always good quality. I’m guessing when they reopen they will have the new clover machine. I love Joffrey’s espresso.

Perhaps enjoy a better product supplied by a local company... Joffery's ?

Oh no! What will anyone be able to do by not getting Starbucks at WDW!
