I will say that this is your normal counter service. It is a outdoor area so when it rains or is windy it may not be the best choice. It is good.
Studio Catering Co just reopened last week after a refurbishment with an all new menu. I was very impressed with the food. For once, I would actually say that this is a counter service location that I would actually WANT to go to for the actual food. I had the Pressed Tuscan Deli sandwich, and it was delicous. During the refurb they added the capability to make french fries, and these were a nice side with the sandwich. The portion size was good, nice and fresh, and it tasted great - not much off the quality found at Earl of Sandwich. Service was nice and quick, good condiment section, and plenty of covered outdoor seating. This locaiton has been a nightmare in the past, but if the new menu stays, this is a location I will return to. I highly recommend that you give it a try.
Terribly noisy and the wind tunnel affect makes napkin-chasing seem like they want you to be miserable. Though not very crowded due to out-of-the-way location, after a showing of "Lights, Motors, Action!" the place floods with cranky kids who (after sitting down for so long) wanna go run the Minnie Marathon. The service is atrocious. Even at half-capacity, it took us forty minutes to get food for 4 people! And we still had to eat it- though we didn't really want to considering how rubbery the meat was. The selection is dismal; dry ribs or mushy mac n' cheese. One of my worst dining experiences at Disney World in almost twelve years.
