The Fall and Halloween season is in full swing at Walt Disney World, and three fan-favorite Disney Springs restaurants now offer special menu items to celebrate the season.
Here is a rundown of some of what is on offer at Enzo's Hideaway, The Edison, and Maria & Enzo's.
The Edison
The lavish, 1920s-themed restaurant, bar and entertainment destination is serving up a most unique Halloween cocktail throughout October.
The Blood Donor, served in a blood bag, combines Aperol, Solerno, Espolòn Silver, lime juice, and simple syrup to make a vivid crimson concoction — eerie, maybe not for the squeamish, yet delicious.
You can buy it by the glass for $21; or ten servings for your party can be yours for $140.
Another option that is perfect for a party is Eye of Newt, a witch's cauldron bubbling with St. George botanivore gin, Cocchi Americano, St. George spiced pear, sparkling wine, raspberry, and lemon. It is served over dry ice with edible body parts - five servings for $75 or ten for $140.
Staying with The Edison, on October 21 at 11:30 am, you can partake in The Cocktail Archives: A Historic Perspective of Mixology, an opportunity to sip and taste your way through the decades from Victorian London through 21st century America.
Each era's drink will be paired with small bites to enhance the experience (and the spirits). Check out the full station menus here.
Here is a preview of two of the drinks that will be served at the event - starting with the Clover Club.
Thought up by a Philadelphia men's group called the Clover Club, this gin-based lemon berry drink was a favorite among pre-Prohibition era elites.
The original recipe calls for raw egg white, but The Ediosn is using a cellulose derivative called methylcellulose (common in meringues) as a substitute. The drink is mixed on a rather unique piece of equipment from Australia, the Victorian-inspired Imperial Shaker.
The Clover Club is paired with A5 beef - luxurious and delicious.
Also served at the event will be the Liquid Nitrogen Caipirinha - Brazil's national cocktail. Emerging from restaurants across Las Vegas and Southern California, liquid nitrogen is a relatively new technique in molecular mixology. It all combines to produce a harmonious blend of sweet, sour, and strong. It is paired with a yakitori grilled shrimp.
Tickets are $75 per person for general admission or $90 for guaranteed seating with access. Either ticket option can be upgraded to Platinum service for +$40. Platinum service includes premium cocktail ingredients at some stations, plus a bonus food and cocktail station featuring A5 Wagyu Tataki. All tickets are limited and can be purchased HERE. 21+ only.
